Pretty great price for so many. Works really well on dark fabrics.

I’m really happy with this Mr. Pen tailor’s chalk set. The colors show up well on different fabrics and make marking patterns and measurements easy. The chalk glides smoothly without snagging the fabric, and it washes off easily, which is a big plus. I also like that it comes in an 8-pack, so I always have the right color on hand. Great quality for the price and perfect for sewing, alterations, and craft projects.

Like others, I was impressed by the care that went into the packaging to ensure that the pieces were protected during shipping. I will use these on fabric but wanted to test them for marking leather as well. The chalk left a sharp, clear, and clean line and washed away easily with water and a simple swipe of my fingers (I have included photos of the lines of each color drawn and again after washing it away). Unlike other products I’ve used, the chalk did not dull or crumble at all after marking - I feel as though I can make dozens of markings before I would even be able to tell the chalk looks as though it had been used at all. Confidential it will stand the test of time so long as I take care of it. Very happy with my purchase and will order again if I ever make my way through all this chalk!

This chalk is good for marking. Soft and a little brittle, but all pieces arrived intact. Broke when it fell off the table and hit the floor. Marks well. Wears down quickly. I have not noticed any staining, but the blue is a little harder to get out quickly. G

Nice thick chalk. Each shipped in protection and boxed. I bought cheaper ones before that just break uo in your hand, not these. I use to mark patterns and works great.

So far these are amazing and their packaging was cute with a hand written letter saying thank you. Highly recommend! I was using other chalk devices that held chalk dust and this works so much better.

I love everything I've gotten from Mr. Pen! Fountain pen, this set with chalk and chalk holder is great. It was packaged well! No broken chalk!!

It does what it is supposed to do, and the price was very good so as long as you know there will be some crumbling, it is fine. I seem to prefer something between the chalk block and a pencil, but this is OK for basic use.

These are very handy for crafters! Love the multi colors, so many for the price, I still have a bit.

For some reason I thought the high cost of this chalk may indicate its quality. I was wrong. This chalk is very thin, cheap chalk from China. Additionally it's very expensive for what it is, directly drop shipped from eBay where you can buy the exact same thing for $3 to $4. This is a very smart Amazon/eBay arbitrage product, if you are a professional or need this for more than the most casual hobby use, do not buy it - or at least pay less for it elsewhere.

More than expected. They are large pieces. I hadn't read all the details or seen the photos with the size shown so I was surprised of the size. They mark the fabric very well. I haven't tried washing yet but I trust the marks wash out well. The marks don't brush out.

Work as described and arrived intact!
