I had ordered this & i lipstick wasn't inside bubble wrap. I called Amazon & they immediately offered me a refund or to replace lipstick. Received my lipstick today. Yay! Love the cruel ruby. It has a powder base so last almost all day. I do use another color underneath this because it's kinda dry but with a base it's perfect. Thanks Amazon!

My favorite lip color is Tarte's Texas Toast, a limited edition color designed by an Internet star. Being limited edition, one can't get it in stores anymore, and the website limits you to only buying one at a time. It's my perfect "your lips but better" color, so I've managed to hoard three, and hopefully they'll have more free shipping days so I can get another while it exists-but soon, it will be no more.Everything I love gets discontinued.So, I'm looking for a dupe, preparing for the fateful day my fav lippie is gone. The makeup gurus pointed me towards Matbelline's Gone Griege and I even saw a video where it was supposed to be exact. Well, they are wrong, it's not even close to a dupe, it's much darker. But not only do I like it as much as Texas Toast, i like it more. It's prettier, more glamorous and interesting.Tarte's product makes my lips look like I'm barely wearing anything, just more defined and smooth, and Gone Greige is a much darker, more noticeable color. It's a perfect greige that I think would work with many skin tones. It's lot better than the browns that were the trend a while back but still gives that dark natural lip effect.Like all Maybelline, it's moisturizing, and very comfortable to wear. It is not a long-lasting lipstick but good enough. What I've been doing is using the Texas Toast for running around, and putting the Gone Greige over it for a sexier lip later and reapplying as needed. But I often wear the Maybelline alone and I get several hours without fading and no streaking.This is a beautiful color and if you haven't tried a griege before and like neutral color lips, give this a go.Of course, I'm going to have to start stocking up on Gone Greige, because now that I fell in love with it, it's sure to be discontinued. If like me, you try it and love it, get a couple extra tubes, because without a doubt, I'm the black thumb of makeup products.

Wife bought this for adult time to add some fun. It kisses off way too easily and is gone with just mild making out. Really have to load it on for the color to be as rich as it looks in stock photos. The smell is intoxicating though and it doesn't taste bad which is a plus.

I love this lip stick and all the colors but the 2 past times I have ordered the lip stick has completely melted and the other time it was the wrong color overall

I took this pic at 9:30 pm, so 13 hours this lipstick stays on my lips!!! It’s very moisturizes and nourishes lips, remaining completely matte and having the same magnificent color! Feels very soft, comfortable and light - on the lips you do not feel the lipstick at all!! I am very delighted, now I will add 1 more of the same color and will look at other colors. thanks to the seller for the perfect packaging and fast delivery!!!

When I received this lip color I noticed the color name on the packaging. Copper rose didn’t seem like something I’d order because of the ‘copper’, however, ‘rose’ would be a color I was open to. I wondered if there was a mistake, but upon seeing the order and the listing, this is absolutely the shade I ordered. The actual shade of this is a bit more coppery than I would have liked. With that said, it doesn’t scream “COPPER’. The rose gives it more of a natural look. I would have liked a bit more rose, I think, though the color is nice. I do like the color, but it may take some getting used to. I’m wondering if I’m too fair and cool to wear this. The listing photos make this look so lovely on all skin tones. I may have to mix this with another color at least until I get used to it. It feels ok when wearing. It’s not drying and I can’t really feel it on my lips. I was looking forward to the beautiful rosy color I thought I was getting.Update Not long lasting, but the color is growing on me. I’m giving three stars because it has no staying power.
