Soooooo fun to fly!
I never leave reviews cuz I absolutely hate writing. But these planes seriously deserve a review! I highly suggest them for any beginning or even advanced RC guy (like me). Easy to fly, fast, agile, and has the perfect mix of durability and aesthetics (they look so cool, especially if you love WW2 planes like I do). I've bought a total of 9 of these planes and I finally feel experienced enough to offer some good advice. So here you go:1) Buy either the Corsair or the BF109. They fly the best -- especially the Corsair but they all fly slightly different depending on chance. I haven't had a plane fly poorly, but the Mustang did get a little shaky when going fast or when it was windy and the P40 Warhawk was super jittery. The Corsair is BY FAR my favorite though. I've had 3 and they all flew super good (crashed one straight into a fence and the other one I crashed so many times it simply became inoperable).2) LEARN TO FLY THESE IN A GRASS FIELD. A BIG ONE! You are going to crash 100,383 times before you get anywhere near adept enough to fly these things in front of your house. But if you're doing it in a giant grass field, then you can crash them literally dozens of times and they won't break. Concrete, on the other hand, can wreck them in one crash.3) Keep the wheels on. They'll break off from time to time -- to which superglue will mount them back on -- but they'll protect the battery cage from breaking. On the superglue note, it's awesome for glueing together broken wings etc cuz the planes are just styrofoam.4) Buy extra props. They fall off on impact and don't break often, but they do crack relatively easily so you'll want extra ones trust me.5) Have needle nose pliers on hand for removing the battery. You'll thank me later.6) Before your first flight make sure the prop is on securely by gunning it while you hold it then dragging it backwards through the air. If that doesn't make the prop fall off, then you're ready to send it.7) Make sure your controller is in easy mode on your first flight. Once you get better, go to intermediate mode. That's where I still am, and it's the best mode to fly in IMO. The one time I went into expert mode I drilled my BF109 straight into the concrete and it destroyed my brand new plane. Sucked.8) When taking off, put the throttle on full, and huck the plane as high as you can at a 45 degree angle into the wind.9) I'd just fly in circles using the right control knob at first. Then crash it into the grass and repeat. These planes are SO FUN!10) Once you graduate to flying them outside your house try to land in grass. You basically crash land but it's better than crashing in the street on a failed approach. Then once you master grass, land on the street. But give it several weeks before going for a street landing. Cuz if you bend the shaft that spins the propeller that will essentially total your plane.11) Land in the street by coming in fast and low. I'll come in at like half speed and once the wheels are down I'll cut power. My landings are now like butter and I'm breaking my planes WAY LESS.10) You can fly these things almost entirely with the right joystick. Just keep the left joystick pinned (throttle) and fly the thing with the right one. Easy Peasy.11) Once you're an epic pilot like me, you'll be chasing birds around and dive bombing the kids in the neighborhood. You'll be doing loops and barrel rolls and songs will be written about you that will be sung around campfires for generations to come. These things are awesome, GET ONE!

Good value for price. Good second plane or maybe starter.
This is a good second plane or maybe a starter plane. My son started with a plane where speed also controlled elevation so there were only two controls - one for speed/elevation the other for turning. This plane has an elevator so speed and altitude can be controlled independently. So it’s one step more complex than his starter - but only one step. There is no rudder or aileron so it’s not too complex. I like the propellers on the side and not up front so that when you crash it doesn’t damage the propeller. The foam is durable. The battery door is a bit tight so I just broke it off.Don’t expect perfection - realize that it’s a decent deal for the price. If you want perfection you’ll have to pay more. But this is a lot of fun to fly and a great first or second plane. I’d give it a 4.75 if I could.

Extras are included, perfect for a beginner
Great RC airplane, it constructed with styrofoam but it is detailing is very nice. Radio control is easy to use. Comes with spare props for the plane. Great for someone who wants to try the hobby with out spending a lot. Comes also two rechargeable batteries.

Awesome
This thing is amazing!!! Got it for my son’s 10th birthday. There is definitely a learning curve. A few things. 1. There are front wheels that need to be installed. We didn’t realize this for the first few days. This helps it land a bit better. 2. Spray paint your propellers a bright color so when they pop off at crash - you can find them. This dramatically improved my son’s expierence with this little airplane. It’s got so much pep. It flies way longer than the 15 mins it says.It does crash a lot. Mostlikely our fault since we’re newbs. It took a hard hit and kind of split. We will need to tape it together in order to get it back up and running but we love this thing. I just wish it was a bit cheaper so we could replace it. I got it on a deal for around $70 but it’s back up to $120 now. Highly recommend for your kiddos looking for a fun airplane.

DO NOT BY AT ALL COST WASTE OF MONEY
I took my son out to test flight this in a open field on Christmas day. We went through all precautions and when the plane took off, I was like, "Wow it flies pretty well!" It had a good amount of power and worked pretty well..at first. However, my son told me, while he was flying it, the propeller had seemed to stop mid air, while it was still climbing, so he banked left to turn it around and help it glide for a soft landing. He glided its way down to a soft landing and ran over to it. The propeller had popped off but it was an easy fix! We put it back on but the propeller was not spinning and we thought it was jammed. We look into the motor and found it fine, it just wasn't spinning. My son then said, "Hey, is that smoke!?" Pointing at the battery cabin. I said it was probably our breaths from the cold, but we started smelling something like burnt wires and stuff and quickly opened the cabin. We saw the battery slightly, we took it out, it was burning hot, and unplugged it quickly before it would've possibly exploded!! Just a few more seconds of looking at the plane would've gotten us to the hospital if we didn't notice. We smelled inside the aircraft as well, we found out that something burned in there as well. It barely lasted a flight and the actually motor spinner only for a few mere 8 or so seconds. It was absolutely a very heartbroken christmas.

Buy it lol
Never flew one of these guys before in my life. Took mine out last week and man oh man these things are cool. They sure as hell can take a beating. I love these since they're relatively cheap in the rc world so the risks arent too high if things go wrong. And these lil guys actually fly. I was quite skeptical-coming from dji drones lol but this guy blew away my expectation. I just got big on aviation this year, so if youre new to the hobby and wanna fly around- BUY THIS PRODUCT to start with. Master the 3 modes then upgrade! Enjoy (i am lol)
