Photos are deceiving, these are not sturdy bins whatsoever. They're made of very cheap, flimsy plastic that easily bends and the cutout edges for the handle holes are not smooth. The bins were shipped stacked inside each other to save on space and one of the bins was permanently warped on the side in the middle because of this. In the process of trying to pry them apart, the plastic handle almost sliced my hand open and hurt a lot. Gripping the handle to slide it off the shelf hurts. We planned to use these bins as storage snacks for our kid to access at his height, but the handles are not kid-friendly.The only reason it gets 2 stars is because it's hard to find plastic storage bins in fun colors and their color options were precisely what I was hoping to find. Bummed all-around, will be going back to ordering the standard clear storage bins for our kitchen.

They're flexible, not rigid. Because of the handle cut-outs, they're not airtight. I'm using mine without the lids to organize stuff in the kitchen.

I really like these, however when I received them one had been damaged during shipping. It was like a large white "bent plastic" type mark that won't go away. I WAS pretty angry about it, but just let it go. For that reason, I dont think I'd buy anymore of them as I originally intended.
