Caddis Sports Nevada Gold Float Tube

I've had this float tube for almost ten years and it's awesome. I also have the regular Nevada tube from Caddis, and this one is worth the extra money. This has much better storage, a more comfortable seat and a tough under layer. This boat is bomb proof. I've taken it down the river many times, scraping bottom, and the shell is still going strong. The U-tube design is more maneuverable than pontoon style boats. The downside is that you sit lower than in a pontoon. The back rest also has a handy storage area for a raincoat or shoes if you want to get out and wade. I have had hundreds of hours of fishing bliss in this boat. I often say it's the best thing I ever bought.

I'm coming off a very old inner tube style Caddis float tube. Almost everything is positive about this new tube.- love the ease of entry vs inner tube style- The U-shape allows for better paddling because your legs don't hit the tube- back support is great- Good quality tough material- Easy inflationThings I don't like are primarily because I think the U-tube should be longer:- not as much flotation in the front:- the lap mesh is very small and crowded- I tended to slip forward and had to periodically shift my butt back

Purchased this 2/3/16 through Amazon. Loved it. Used it. Kept it stored in my garage when not in use. Went down 7/14/16 to take it out and upper back seam had separated. I am 5-3/145, its not over inflated, not abused, cleaned and stored properly. Should not have had a seam just come apart. So far with 3 emails, multiple phone calls to just get a phone tree that goes no where, I cannot get Caddis to respond to my warranty inquiries. I have sent pictures of the damage. Poor customer service, poor product.

I like the size, weight and sturdiness of this inexpensive float tube. It has literally no built-in back support or back-up flotation, unfortunately. The fly-holding pad on the outside is attached only by velcro so blew away as soon as I hit the water. The seat was fine for me, but would be tight for someone broader in the beam. It's also difficult to put the bar in place to hold the sides apart. Once in place, it becomes challenging to move around, possibly leading to a safety hazard. Okay for someone practiced in float tubes, using it for short periods of time, and fishing on small ponds.

Great float tube. You sit high out of the water, and it is perfect for fly fishing.

My husband loves this float tube more than me! No but really, he has no complaints, very sturdy, great quality. He says he has no complaints and it is the best thing I have ever bought in all my amazon shopping.

Love my new tube. As with all others, it's cumbersome to get into but once aboard, it's sweet! You sit high and don't slide down.A great buy.

PLEASE FORGIVE ME, I WROTE MY REVIEW PREMATURELY!! There is not even one sheet of instructions included with this FLOAT TUBE!! You figure it out because the MANUFACTURE IS NOT GOING TO HELP YOU!! MORE IMPORTANTLY, THERE IS AN INHERENT DESIGN FLAW IN THIS PRODUCT THAT COULD COST YOU YOUR LIFE!! ARE YOU A GOOD SWIMMER?? BY GOD. YOU BETTER BE OR YOU WILL DROWN!! BECAUSE I ALMOST DID AND I AM AN EXCELLENT SWIMMER!! The problem is with the front end adjustments of the seat in this float tube. THEY COME LOOSE AND DUMP THE PERSON JUST LIKE FLUSHING THE TOILET AND DOWN YOU GO BOY! HAPPY SWIMMING A**HOLE!! PLEASE PRINT THIS BECAUSE IT COULD SAVE LIVES!! HAPPY JACK
