It took literally 45 seconds to set up. Connected power to it, opened the Smart Life app, then pressed the little button until it started flashing. Smart life immediately popped up with “I’ve found a new device”. It took 20 seconds to pair, and that was it. Amazing! 🤩 It’s also very small. Smaller than expected, like a matchbox, so that was a bonus. (About 42mm x 42mm x 20mm) Definitely going to use this again. (Unless of course it doesn’t last) 😂

These Dimmers do work fine, however you do need to get your head around the Smartlife APP for it to work properly. You need to set it up via the Smart icon - create scene - set time/date - select switch - select brightness. this has to be done for every stage of the light dimming. eg, brightness 100% , 50%, 10%, Off will require 4 Scenes (setting tabs) to make it work.

Easy to install, note, it needs a positive and negative to function so some re-wiring for switched live is needed.

Probably need an electrician to fit.

I bought this a while back but never fitted until now. The switch worked for a week after fitting, then lights started flashing. I checked all the connections and left it off for a while. It worked fine another couple days, then blew all the bulbs when I tried switching the lights on. I replaced the bulbs, same story after 2 days.

Easy to install

Used this to turn individual ceiling lights on/ off remotely. Connected initially by plug to link to smart things about 20secs and then installed in ceiling. Works great. I can now turn two ceiling lights on/ off independently via alexa.
