Great book, have now read it a couple of times

Good on a rainy day or stormy night.

.but about stories of Scotland and then theres a tiny bit of a fictitious ghost story added on at the end.This effort of a book could have been a lot better if not pushed as a ghost book but rather a basic history of Scotish ghosts.Lost interest at 10 percent.

Could have had an extra chapter or two but great for price

Bought as a gift and recipient was very pleased with it.

This is by far the best Scottish Ghost Story book I have read (and I own and have read several) - it is very well-researched and goes right to the heart of where the stories and legends have come from and how they have "evolved". Care has been taken to ensure that the most reliable sources have been sought out and - where possible - been interviewed. It strikes just the right balance between fact and mystery! Well-written and very easily read.

I had this book before, bought it from the writer who was at a book sale of his, and have it away a couple of years ago to a friend who wanted to find out about a story near us, I know I bought it second hand but it is very brown, and I know mine was of not older maybe about same age and was in better condition I often but second hand but this one is very poor
