Great On/Off Switch with Dimming Capabilities
I got these to run an LE brand 5050 Flexible Light Strip. One end goes to my 12V power supply, the other to my strip lights. This unit works great. This is replacing one of those small, white remote-control units that died on me. It does not come with any instructions. It is a touch unit and it seems to be very responsive and sensitive. You just tap the power logo to turn on and off. In order to use dimmer: Once the unit is ON, you push and HOLD the power logo. The unit will dim in a direction either up or down. The unit toggles the dimming. For example, if you push and hold and it dims, if you let go and hold again, it will brighten. You let go once you have the brightness setting you want and the unit will remember the setting until you change it.

This works so much better than the remotes that come with some of the led under counter lights.

Potential fire hazard
Worked well for about 6 months until I noticed a strange smell coming from the kitchen. The switch was overheating and so hot that I almost couldn’t touch it. I can only assume it was on its way to catching fire.

Works better than expected!
For the price I expected something rather cheaply made and it actually is pretty good! I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for two unexpected issues.1) The connection from the dimmer to the LED strip gets VERY hot when the strip is turned all the way up.2) The housing of the dimmer touch button comes apart very easily.Other than that, it works great! Very responsive and even came with a nice, small piece of 3M double sided stick tape so I was able to hide the switch on the underside of my desk.
