The numbers are big and bright. It's powered by USB and has both USB A and USB C. It can be powered by either one. The two AAA batteries are to maintain the time in the event of power interruption. It's simple to set, there is no daylight saving time auto adjust which might be just as well. The box says it will maintain accuracy of +- 30 seconds/month, what it will actually do we will see. I didn't check the alarm because I don't plan on using it as an alarm clock.

I absolutely love this clock! It’s sleek and very attractive. The number display is vibrant, large, and easy to read, and the alarm volume is loud enough to wake the dead. An excellent purchase!

I love this clock, I've purchased it several times for different spots in my apartment. I've noticed that the newer clocks can do a really nice top to bottom color gradient that my older clocks can't do. I'm wondering if there is a firmware update we could install on our older clocks to let them make this color pattern too? not sure how that would work but if it's possible I'd love to do it. thank you!

First one arrived DOA, so I was hesitant to say the least to get a replacement. Second one arrived and worked perfectly out of the box.Only thing that threw me at first is the two "buttons" on either side of the snooze button/nightlight button on top. They're not buttons, just touch-sensitive areas, and it's stupid-easy to accidentally hit them and change settings. Other than that, seems to work fine.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this as a gift for my soon to be 6th grader. He's going to need to start getting up earlier, and this fun clock makes it more bearable.The numbers can be displayed in multiple different colors and brightness levels, and there is a night light option that he seems to like.

This the best I have ever seen I is great quality and it is really loud the size is perfect for a desk. You can also change the brightness and color when ever. I recommend it !!

Very loud and wakes up a heavy sleeper. Can't dim the lights on it which is a huge bummer. The colors are consistently changing and you can't set a specific color, if you can set it is difficult to find out how.

Great for my son to wake up for high school next year... It has 2 alarm set up and my room is in the living room while my sons is all the way back in the kitchen and i can hear his alarm go off from far away ... he loves the color changing and it was a great choice for him
