It is stiff at time of purchase but relaxes with use and a few washes. I line dry, but I would think a clothes dryer would help. It drapes nicely. Does not snag even with a kitten in the home. In use it us very comfortable and a great weight during nap time.

Great price point for this pair of buffalo check throws. I ordered two. These are well made, and feels like they will hold up well. I've washed in cold, dried partially dry on low and got most of the musty factory smell out.The colors are vibrant and just as pictured.I got these for a black and white and green Christmas theme this year, but due to the year-round love of farmhouse vibes, these are going to live out in the open year-round!

This blanket is kind of stiff, making it more of an ideal blanket for say, road trips, outdoor events, or your porch. It feels like it would hold up well to outside use and frequent washing.But honestly, I ordered it (in two colors!) specifically to use as a tablecloth for a small dining table. And I love it! It looks very cozy, and while I personally don't have a farmhouse style, it would be right at home as part of that. I ordered the pink for spring/summer and the blue for fall/winter. My only complaint is that the blue is so dark, it looks almost black. It's not terrible, but the blue that is pictured is definitely misleading.

I bought this throw for my front porch bench. It's heavy and seems nicely made. It is not soft at all. Works perfectly for my front porch winter decor (January thru March).

What a beautiful, cheerful blanket! I used it for outside patio chairs...for Valentine's Day. It is easily seen from the street and brings smiles to peoples faces as they walk by.I hope this company has some in green and white for St. Patrick's Day!

Not soft! It came out of the box very stiff and scratchy like burlap. I threw it straight into the washing machine and it washed and dried fine with no bleeding of colors or shrinkage but stayed really rough feeling. I bought this as a lap blanket but I think I will use it more as a decorative piece which is not what I wanted. Still, I have hopes that after a few washings it may soften up since other reviewers said it starts to soften up after several washings. I was going to add fabric softener but the label said not to do that but others mentioned doing it anyway and felt that it did actually help soften it up a bit without ruining it. Personally, although the blanket is pretty I wouldn't feel good recommending it for use as a blanket but for use as decoration it's quite lovely.

I wanted this blanket more as a decor piece, than to cover up. Great look, well made. It is thin. It works perfect for what i was wanting.
