However, a popular strategy employed by many of our valued customers involves the acquisition of two ROVE R2-4K Pro dash cameras. By employing the second dashcam as a rear camera, this innovative approach allows for uniform 4K video capture both at the front and rear of the vehicle. The only requirement is a power source for the rear camera to enable its functionality. Should your preference lean towards a dashcam with inherent rear camera compatibility, we recommend exploring the capabilities of our ROVE R3 model. This model presents a distinctive proposition as the industry's pioneer 3-Channel Touch Screen Dash Cam. Offering a front-facing 1440P camera, coupled with 1080P cameras for both the cabin and rear areas, it also incorporates advanced features such as 5Ghz Wi-Fi connectivity and a host of proprietary ROVE software enhancements. Q: Can I view the cars live gps detected location remotely through the application?

Hi There, Thank you for reaching out to us. ROVE Dash Cams incorporates a built-in WiFi feature that facilitates seamless pairing between your smartphone (whether it's an iPhone or Android) and the ROVE Dash Cam. Once the camera establishes a connection with ROVE's WiFi network, a pairing akin to that of a Bluetooth device takes place. The WiFi coverage span emanating from the ROVE dash camera encompasses approximately 10 meters when unobstructed. For viewing camera recordings via the ROVE APP on your smartphone, it's imperative to remain within this 10-meter WiFi radius emanating from the dash cam. Straying beyond this 10-meter radius will result in the loss of WiFi signal, effectively terminating the paired connection with our ROVE dash cam. Additionally, it's essential to note that the GPS function integrated within the camera doesn't support real-time tracking. Instead, it furnishes geolocation data regarding the routes traversed while the camera is actively recording. This geolocation information is embedded within the recorded video and can be viewed through the Rove GPS Player or the Rove app when the video is played back. I hope this helps. Thank you!
