I like the way the kettle looks and performs even on my flat top stove!

Beautiful kettle. Whistles loud. Easy to clean. Ordered before 2 years ago. Used every day several times so was time to order again. Was getting a little rusty inside but do not wipe out after every use like it said to. Rather buy a new one.

We make a lot of french press coffee and tea in our home. I ordered this on Prime day (actually, I accidentally ordered two and gave one to my sister). It's not probably a normal workflow to put the kettle in the dishwasher, but it wound up in there on a normal cycle and came out without most of it's paint! I actually like the stainless finish better than the cranberry, but if it's color matching you're after, be aware that you just want to wipe this kettle down, not put it in a machine to clean it.It's also a bit "slow" compared to the kettle it replaced, but it's holding more volume and seems to have a much thicker bottom. It takes over 20 minutes to boil on the small burner on our glasstop range. large burner about 10 minutes, so if you have an efficiency stove without a full sized burner, maybe on a boat, this is probably not the kettle for you.Trigger in handle to operate the spout props it open with a close button that protrudes from the top of the handle. This is fine. It's easy to operate and the handle is quite large, which makes it easy to control for smaller folks or older folks when it's completely full of boiling water.The whistle alert starts a bit soft, but by the time the water is boiling, I can hear it throughout my home. I like to steep my french press coffee around 200F, so I wait for the soft low wistle and it's just about perfect.

So whoever heard of "Creative Home"? That made me hesitate, but after reading critical reviews of the well-known brand names, I decided to take a chance on what appeared to be a good item, at least by description and photos. I'm glad I did. This kettle is well made, attractive, intelligently designed and functions perfectly.The bottom is seamless, eliminating leaks and rusts from that source. The inside is lined to further protect against rusting. The cap is large, well constructed and fits very tightly. The handle is adequately insulated and very "grippy". The spout button is in the handle. Simply squeeze with your index finger and it remains open. Press the top button with your thumb and it snaps closed. No stretching or sliding of your fingers. It is the best and easiest I have ever owned. The size of your hand will not be an issue.This teapot is not painted like so many others, which I think is a plus, and the design is sturdy and simple. The top is not super easy to get on and off, but I always fill through the spout anyway so that's no problem for me. Other reviewers have complained of whistling problems and quality, but mine whistles perfectly and is high quality brushed stainless steel.One note: 3.0 quarts is all you can safely fill it with. I measured it. That fills it to the ideal, just below the spout seam.

I got this today and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Its a much safer kettle than the one i had as the base if totally flat - the curved base doesnt work as good on a cash cooker but this one is perfect. Just rinsed it, filled it and made a pot of tea. Boils fast and the whistle works great - you wouldnt miss hearing it if youd gone into another rom and left it on which is great as my previous one didnt whistle nearly as loud! Great value for money. Shipped fast and well packaged!Add on feedback a few days later!! : Note I've been using my new kettle since it arrived and i STILL love it - its everythign i said earlier. I just wanted to add a little note. I have not had any issues with the handle being over hot but a friend was here today and mentioned she found the handle ROASTING and couldnt lift it without a tea towel. I clearly have a high heat threshold in my hand as havent had this problem but be aware if you have sensitive hands or are prone to finding things very hot to handle this might be something to be aware of. You could use a pot holder or do as my friend did with her own kettle, she taped a sweatband around her handle to make it easier to lift. This is not an issue for me at all but thought it worth mentioning as some people do find pot handles very hot to handle! :)

I read the reviews before purchasing, so I waited awhile before posting my review to see if I had the same issues as others. This tea kettle is very beautiful, nice and shiny, wonderful color. It is more of a grass green than a lime green I think. The paint has not faded or peeled off, but I do have an electric stove. I do dry it out after each use as recommended, and have not had any problems with rust spots. The whistle is not eardrum piercing loud which I really like, I don't like that loud squeal, but you can hear it easily enough. The handle does not get hot and it is easy to pour. I have used this numerous times since purchase and have had none of the problems listed in other reviews. I am not saying that the problems do not exist, they just haven't for me. I am very pleased with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to purchase one in the future if I need to.(AMENDMENT: Here it is June 2nd and my tea kettle is broken :( The metal stop that covers the pour spout pops off with the coil spring when I heat water in it, and I have to keep putting it back in. I thought it was just a fluke when it happened last week so I put it back together but I just now heated up some water and it did it again. Don't really want to do this every time I heat up water for tea :( I still love it just wish this wouldn't have happened.)( Contacted customer service at Amazon and had a very pleasant customer service experience. Kettle is being replaced and a new one is being shipped! Thank you Janelle with Amazon.com customer service, you did an amazing job! Will change star rating as soon as I have test drove the new kettle!)

Why does a red color come off on the dish cloth when I clean this kettle?

First I must say the Rose Gold is truly lovely and matches perfectly with my other kitchen appliances.The kettle is lightweight, the whistle is strong and well heard, the handle does not get hot at all and the 2 buttons to open and close the spout work with ease.As with any small appliance a quick vinegar/water wash will eliminate any white residue that may appear from boiling water.I love this lightweight kettle and anyone with arthritis will appreciate the ease of use to fill and open and close the spout.

Attractive and practical whistling tea kettle with copper finish stainless steel construction.The trigger opening mechanism integral in the handle was one reason why I purchased this kettle,which makes for easy and safe opening and pouring, and the handle is comfortable to hold.The whistle when boiling is loud enough to hear anywhere in the house, essential when out of theroom, the main reason why I had to replace my previous kettle! There are many other kettle designsand types available, but the Alexa series seemed to suit my requirements.

Bonjour,Je ne suis pas déçu, la bouilloire correspond à ce que l'on voulait !Grande capacité, et l'ouverture se fait facilement en tenant la poignée sans avoir à le faire de l'autre main et sans se brûler. Ce qui est souvent le cas sur d'autres bouilloires.La couleur Rose Gold est très jolie et participe à la décoration.Le remplissage se fait bien malgré la poignée qui va d'un bout à l'autre.Bonne résistance aux rayures.Je suis contente de mon achat, même si au début je cherchais une bouilloire de marque connue, je trouve qu'elle vaut bien largement au-dessus des autres quand on regarde le rapport qualité/prix.

I bought this five months ago and everything was ok, until there was a toxic smell coming from kettle. It rusts very easily and not stainless steel. For the price or $55, I would expect this product to be quality and stand up to it's description on Amazon! Extremely disappointed to have to spend more money and not get money back from this waste of metal junk!

We have a gas stove and this kettle sit well on the burners and the whistle is delightful. I would recommend this. My only note is that, understandably, it does not hat up quite as quickly as my electric kettle - but I still love it :)
