Worked!
Had an issue with my MacBook Air keyboard and trackpad randomly stopping. Bought a tool kit and this cable hoping it would fix the problem. It did! Old cable was corroded for some reason (didn’t spill anything on this MBA). Not sure how much a repair shop would charge but my bet is this saved me a LOT of money. Still working and have been using the MBA on a daily basis since the repair.

Perfect and even pre-folded plus ready with adhesive.
Perfect. Keyboard and trackpad had stopped working but this took care of it. Even came pre-folded which DEFINITELY helps with correct placement. Also had adhesive sticker on it which also helps. Easy to install and fixed the problem.

Good value , works like a charm
Arrived 1 day before expected date and well packaged. Installation is easy but do see some online videos to ensure you dont damage it. Its a vital part as it connects both the trackpad and keyboard to the mother board. Great vaue , works great

Fixed MacBook Air Keyboard & Trackpad
I spilled beer on my MacBook. It’s a 2015 MacBook Air, but I still use it in 2023. The trackpad and keyboard stopped working, but I didn’t notice until the next day. I had dried the entire MacBook off, but some beer got in between the hinge. Once inside the computer, it damaged the ribbon that connects the trackpad and keyboard. This is a common issue even with current MacBooks. The trackpad and keyboard became unresponsive. The repair would’ve been too costly since my since my MacBook is so old. I bought this part and a hex key tool set; then I watched a tutorial on YouTube 2 to 3 times. Following the steps, I replaced the part and took the opportunity to clean the inside of my MacBook very carefully. It took me about 30 minutes. Make sure to use cups to label screws for reassembly. (I used solo cups). Also temporarily unplug the battery for safety. It’s really not a hard process. You just need to be patient and follow the steps. If I can do it, so can you!

DOA?
Didn't work for me. The original ribbon kind of works but the connector is going bad. This one, the trackpad is completely unresponsive.

Solved My Problem
Lost cursor control on my MacBook Air after spilling coffee all over my trackpad. Initially thought I needed to perform a simple clean up of my mess on the outside. When that didn't work, I opened up my laptop and accessed the trackpad itself after watching some repair videos and cleaned that up as best I could. That didn't solve my problem either. While I had the trackpad removed, I noticed the connector on one end of the ribbon cable was marred. Wasn't sure if I needed a whole new trackpad and cable or just the cable. I choose to go the least expensive route and replace just the cable. Turns out, that was all I needed. Best $10 I spent in a long time. I'm sure the Apple store techs would've charged me at least a couple of hundred for this simple fix. Feels good to win one for a change!
