Extremely comfortable, slightly compressed, mid rise sock
I've been a Castelli and Assos fanboy for most of my life. Occasionally, I'll try other premium brands but I usually go back to them. However, lately, I've been a little disappointed in Castelli's quality and Assos's pricing. After searching around for a new brand, Gore seemed to be the way to go. Judging based on these socks, I'm right.For the price these cost, the quality of material and build is extremely impressive.Impressions:1. All seams are very well done.2. These have a mild compressed fit3. There is mid-foot compression4. Material is soft and thick for a cycling sock.5. Wicking is quite goodOverall, I think these are incredible as far as socks can be impressive. These are a part of a larger goal of mine to buy a lot of Gore this year. In my opinion, Gore is a slightly less flashy Castelli with the quality of Assos, but priced below Assos and in line with Castelli. In other words, I'm very comfortable recommending these and all Gore products!Cheers!

Comfortable and good quality
These socks are super comfortable, they are not super thin on the bottom of your foot but still keep my feet dry on longer rides. The cuff is the perfect thickness also .a ND more important stay in place.

Not too tight, not too stretchy, just enough padding. These are just about right for me.
