So, I bought these at the end of last year and didn't get to use them. We opened them up yesterday and used them while at the pool. I am very disappointed! I previously used another brand and thought I would try this one. NEVER AGAIN! We used it as the instructions said and my son ended with a sunburn from the sticker. I will be tossing them and ordering a different brand!

It shows up very well. I live in Florida so I guess it’s pretty obvious anyway but it turns purple within a few minutes and turned clear again within a few seconds after getting in out of the sun. It sticks very well. I had doubts because the sticker is thin but it started throughout the entire day until removed!

We used this at the beach. We put it on and applied sunscreen and as soon as we were outside in the sun it turned purple. If we were in the shade it went back to clear. Was really hoping it would actually tell you when you needed to put more sunscreen on.

Have found them to be super helpful for busy days on the park or at the pool. It's always best to try to remember to reapply sunscreen, but this is a great reminder to keep everyone protected from the sun at all times. It also comes in fun shapes!

Perfect for little kids

I put these stickers on my children and covered them and the sunblock as instructed. When we went out into the sun they immediately changed colors to a dark purple. This is not helpful because that would indicate that we needed to put more sunblock on immediately.

I really like these UV stickers. They are very easy to apply and they change color in the sun to show that they are working.

Either false advertising or I misunderstood-- these didn't turn purple after a certain amount of time in the sun, but instead shortly after any sun exposure. Fun for festivals, as they really stick for days and are invisible when not in the sun. But not good for gauging when to apply sunscreen.
