Works as advertised. Easy to sharpen any knife in the drawer and to do it safely. I use it on whatever knife I’m about to cut with and it quickly puts a sharp edge on it. Cheaper than buying a big bulky electric sharpener.

Works. Don't know what else to say. Sharpens very well. A little awkward to use at first. Leaves a very sharp knife. Actually sharpens.

Nice sharpener for on the go and if you need something for a quick sharpen. Certainly not going to compare to the sharpening stone. But good value for if you’re in a spot.

I haven't tried the knife one, I bought this product because my cheapie sewing shears got very dull and only pinched the fabric, did not cut at all. After about 10 passes on each blade, it cuts 90% of the time, only pinches every once in a while, so I would definitely recommend this product. I did purchase some new, slightly more expensive shears too (Still under $10 lol) That I won't ruin quite as badly sharpening them the WRONG WAY like I did the other pair. Be advised, it DOES say on the labeling to not use this sharpener on Quality dressmaker shears, use a professional service. Mine are cheap shears, and I can say this product sharpened them well! The grip was comfortable too, they were easy to use and figure out how to properly sharpen the shears with.

A Chef on TV highly recommended this knife sharpener as a must have & everyone needs to sharpen house knives & this tool just takes the guess work out of it. I'm also a retired Hairdresser/Gardener & both sharpeners are perfect for specfic sharpening needs without having to send your implements out for costly sharpening. (I had my Hairdressing Scissors sharpened by a professional & they came back worse than ever, so decided to try the Scissor Sharpener as well to fix my Scissor's & it did a great job.)
