Filter-Monster - Replacement Air Filter Bundle, Set of 3 Filters - Compatible with IQAir HealthPro Series Air Purifier

I have always regretted choosing an IQ Air Filter because of the expense of the name brand filter replacements. Now, however, hanks to Filter Monster their replacement filters are much more affordable and seem to work just as well as the name brand ones.

The filter system was received and immediately installed. This was a first time use of a used unit, so initial installation was a bit fumbly but went together fine. Initial impressions were that the filters were performing as expected, but had a slight odor. The odor wasn't noxious to me, but i can certainly see how others might find it unpleasant. It was reminiscent of a new car, or a new pair of running shoes.I did have an air quality meter running at initial setup, and it did show mildly increased levels of formaldehyde. Much larger increases of volatile organic compounds (TVOC) were measured, which could have been the odor I was detecting. The TVOCs remained elevated for a period of nearly two weeks, and then began gradually tapering off. At the three and one half week mark, the TVOCs have completely subsided and the system now has no detectable odor.It seems that the filters need to run approximately a month before the TVOCs are completely gone. Now that's happened, the filters are working well to remove pollen from our living areas. This was a good purchase - expensive, but good.

I haven’t put it in yet, but I like to stay a step or two ahead on the filters. A good value for the money

I could not find a discernable difference with the OEM version of the same filters and these were much cheaper. I don't know how you tell if a filter is working or not, but it seems to be doing as good or better than the OEM it replaced.

Seeing how expensive the original filters are, this is a great set of filters at almost half the price. I cleaned all of these filters with damp cloth and paper towels, especially the carbon filters as it took quite a beating from shipping with charcoal powders visibly built up inside the plastic wrap. After replacing the filters, I left it on at full speed for about 6 hours, in the hopes of blowing out as much VOC gases that may have been trapped inside these filters. One of the reviews indicated that it took some time to get some formaldehyde which was quite concerning and since I didn't have the air meter to measure it myself, I took a careful approach. So far, I cannot tell any concerns but I would definitely be shopping for an air meter.

We love our IQ Air purifier, but the OEM filters are very expensive. We started using Filter Monster consumables more than a year ago, and there has been no difference in air quality compared to the more expensive OEM filters. I also have a Dylos particle counter, and the readings are within the same range as they were when we were using the OEM filters.Filter Monster gets five stars for great filters at a fair price. Buy with confidence.

Just got them in, turn the device on and it smells funny . Hopefully it will get better. The original ones never smell not even at the beginning so I am getting a little concerned.

2nd time ordering these and they work as well as the name brand.
