However as always you should look beyond the cover as you find this mixer whilst simple to use offers far more than you may think, especially as it is designed to offer best quality for the money you're paying rather than gimmicks and flashing LED's.For a start you can use condenser mics connected using a proper XLR interface rather than relying on a standard jack plug input. This allows the mic to perform to its best, being powered as it should be and its output processed by a higher quality pre-amp contained within the mixer.Other connections include an aux input, a USB interface for connection to a PC or similar, a headphone monitor output and a bluetooth input. This enables you to connect various sound sources that can provide for example background music and then feed the output to your headphones and pc or phone to record or stream the mixed output.The mixer also features various sound processing options such as reverb and noise reduction options as well as the ability to download 3 sound effects of your choice to 3 dedicated buttons. This latter gives you the option to really customise your podcasts etc... with unique spot effects. One other nice feature is the ability to link the background soundtrack to the mic input so if you reduce the latter the former is also ratcheted down automatically. You also have simple controls to adjust input levels, output levels etc... complete with LED signal strength meters.The main thing though is the quality of the sound it produces. Whilst still short of true professional equipment, it is also way cheaper than that sort of gear. For the price point this mixer is sold at it is stunningly good value and outperforms many of its peers at similar prices. Overall this is a great starter mixer for someone getting into the streaming, podcasting or simply post production of audio.
