Model Nipper for Starter

I just recently started getting into building Gundam models and these were the first tool I bought. So far they have been working absolutely great. I’m currently working on my 3rd model and they are cutting everything with ease. So if you’re just getting into models, these are a great choice. The price on these is incredible and they are so so worth it!

TLDR; They're great. At $12 it's a no-brainer. After six months of use, as my "second cut" nippers, I can say they make very clean cuts and the blades are still sharp. They're much sturdier than the $35 Tamiya clippers I got for Christmas that broke after a month of very light duty. I paid $12 and I really can't imagine the pricier nippers cutting any cleaner than these. In a hobby with a lot of overpriced, "premium" tools available, it was nice to have found a premium tool at a very reasonable price. If I had to list a con, it would be that the pleather cover for the pointy bits is really cheap, and flimsy, but it doesn't affect the nippers in any way. Definitely Recommended.

Great tool for the price! I bought these after the blade of my Godhands broke (I think my kid got to them when I was away for work). For the price these can't be beat; not as smooth/sharp as Godhands but these do beat them in price and other competitor single blade nippers. I've gone through one real grade model and am starting another (including pic of my model). These nippers keep on going; great budget option for those looking into their first pair of single blade nippers (or even a replacement).

I am a retired professional model builder and still build a lot of kits. I've gone through many of the sprue cutters everyone has used. They never hold up for long. These have worked very well for me and I will keep track of how they do over time.

Originally got some Chinese “package” with some awful basic ones of these. Finally saw that god hands were the best at like 80$. Not gonna happen right now. So I ordered these and wow this are awesome. I got the basic ones and not professional so I’m curious how much better they are if any. Great for spruce cutting on models. Nice and thin. Great buy.

Great nipper for miniatures. Pretty sharp and you can snip really close to the model. I would suggest this over Godhand for the price difference.

Abbiamo acquistato queste pinze per utilizzarle come rimozione supporti per stampa 3D sia a filo che a resina. Per le stampe a filamento sono abbastanza robuste per tagliare anche i supporti più resistenzi nelle zone a sbalzo, ma la punta è abbastanza sottile da rimuovere con accuratezza anche i supporti della stampa 3D a resina (molto più piccoli). Molto utili anche in altri campi, come ad esempio per spellare fili elettrici e tagliare le fascette di plastica

I'm new to model building and not sure how long I will be into it. This is the 3rd pair I've had. 1st I had for something else 2nd not good. 3rd well.... brilliant the cut so nicely. Cut not clamp. The are small and nice and pointy which helps with the daft small bits. They are nice to hold The price was ok.

They are on the smaller side, but they work perfectly for most of my crafting needs!
