I tested the SKYEMAC pad in a 3 season tent in 40F temperatures, on a damp chilly rainy night. I used an electric inflater to inflate the mat. I also used a15F rated North Face down sleeping bag. Great sleep! The mat was wonderfully warm, and did not noticeably deflate in the cold air overnight. It's easy to roll up, and the bag it comes with has ample room for it. It's a bigger mat and perfect for car camping. I am already considering buying the larger version of the SKYEMAC pad just because it is so comfortable and affordable.

70% filled is still pretty flat. I was going to buy a pump as the bag seemed kinda daunting but if you hold the input to the mattress while you squat on the bag, it fills pretty quickly. About 7 bags full (25minutes). No need for a pump come to find. Very comfy bed for two while camping.

Pretty comfortable and the width is nice because it's wider than too wide sized single backpacking pads. My only issue was the quality control wasn't 100% but I guess that's what you get for the price. One of the ports does not latch to the inflation sack very well so you have to hold it in place to keep it from getting disconnected.

Just get it! Your body will thank you.I went on a camping trip a couple of weeks ago, and at 47, my body just isn't as happy to sleep on the ground as it used to be. I didn't sleep much, and my hips actually had bruises by the end of the 4 days I slept with a small foam liner between me and the ground! So I looked for an alternative.I chose this one because it had the most 5-star reviews. First impression: WOW. So easy to inflate. So comfortable. As soon as I unplugged the valve to let the air in, it completely inflated within a minute. I closed the valve and lay down, and I'd say it's as comfy as my regular bed!I will be going on a camping trip in a couple of weeks and will update when I come back. Received it on Saturday. Got the package in a timely manner. Unpacked it, laid it out on the floor. Self inflated to about 85%. Pumped it up to fit my comfort. By the way, the bag pump in a little awkward. Size was perfect. Set it aside for about twenty minutes. Checked on it and noticed the air had leaked out. Thought it was my imagination so I inflated it again. Again, set it aside for about 10 minutes. It leaked. Didn't leak from the inflate/deflated ports. Bummer! Returning it first thing.

The sleeping pad not only doesn’t elevate you off the ground, but it basically just is the ground. It isn’t comfortable. It’s big and bulky being around an 8in diameter and probably 25-30in across. It’s so bulky you’ll have to strap it to the outside of your pack. It’s also heavy. The pad doesn’t hold air. If you want a sleeping pad that will keep you warm, comfortable, and happy with the product I recommend not getting this pad and going with the NEMO Tensor insulated pad. It’s about the size of a small water bottle and weighs just over a pound.

outer shell is made out of a very thing material that can easily tear. It did easily tear actually. Now the foam. The foam is not a high quality high density foam as stated unfortunately. This mattress does not get anywhere near 4.5 inches thick. Which is the main reason I bought this over others.Most of all, this bed is impossible to put away. I would not recommend to anyone. Specially for the price.

I have used a couple time. It self inflates very quick and the comfort level for this type of sleep system is pretty amazing. I think a mattress like this has many possibilities for camping or home use. The one small downside worth mentioning for me is that it’s a little difficult for me to deflate.
