This lock has been a game changer for us. We have fitted on our back door which everyone else goes out and leaves unlocked and I like having locked at all times. When buying i hadn't realised our door is a bit thicker, I telephoned simpled and spoke to Steve who gave great advise and an sent us an extender kit. The fitting was fairly easy my husband and son fitted in less than and hour, they had to make 1 extra drill hole for the power cable. The lock works great, the door is always locked. The fingerprint works well, I had to redo mine tho. I have found the passage mode good (on the app). The app works well and I definitely will buy the bridge so I can control the lock from a distance. I love it and will definitely recommend, i am planning to buy a lock for another door.

Great smart lock. Very easy to install. Great option to get the door open and the best thing is that it’s got an override key if all else fails.

UPDATE: DO NOT BUY FLIMSY PLASTIC RONG BROKE INSIDE WITHIN A WEEK LOCKING US IN THE HOUSE. ONCE I MANAGED TO GET OUTSIDE TO REMOVE I WAS LUCKY I HAD OUR OLD LOCK AND HANDLE. I did a lot of research looking for the ideal lock and it's harder than you might think. There is a lot to like about this lock but also somethings that just annoy me or just miss the mark. It's works and it feels pretty sturdy but not as sturdy as the dumb handle I replace it with. The finnish is brushed steel which is ok but I would have prefered polished chrome to match the rest of my house. The fitting was fiddly but simple I didn't need to drill any extra holes or make any changes to the door itself at all so that was good after reading some reviews. The battery fitting is the biggest issue for me I had to use the cable exstension and when you use the exstension there os no room in the battery compartment for it to fit well, so this means when screwed into place the battery cover is not flush which looks a little untidy/unfinnished see images. So after taking the punt on a brand I have never heard of (actually really important when you think about security) I am happy and I will be adding on to my front door also, you won't find a lock with all the same features built into it that is better.
