Worked as described.
Used it to drill a 2" dia. hole through an 8" thick slab. The bit worked as described and the teeth are still in good condition after 8" of use.

Best core bits in the market
I purchased the 6"/12' diamond drill bits from HBKEEN and its excellent product. I used it to cut hard rock concrete with rebar in it, it went very easy cut the concrete with the rebar no problem. I would recommend HBKEEN for core bits. Thanks, and will buy again

Worked Great
I wanted to make water fountains out of two pieces of sandstone. I needed to drill 1” holes 26” through the length of the stone. I bought two bits from two different manufacturers incase one did not work as well as another. For once, Blue works better than Red and as it turned out the HBKEEN performed the best. I used the other brand for only a short period of time due to the obvious performance differences. The HBKEEN cut faster and was easier to clean out. The sandstone packs inside the core bit and I found it easier to wash the waste out with a hand pump sprayer than to try to knock the waste out. The HBKEEN has teeth with an inside diameter smaller than inside diameter of the tube, so the core is easier to clean out. The other brand has an inside diameter which is close to the same, which makes clean out harder. Even with the HBKEEN, it needed to be cleaned out ever inch or so. The only drawback to the HBKEEN was that the threads for the adapter are recessed about 1/2 inch or so and my adapter would not engage the threads. Using a hacksaw, I cut about 1/2” off the end of the bit. I ground the end so that the shoulder would be square with the adapter. Then it worked fine. I bought extensions so I could drill the full 26” from one end for a straight hole.

Works well
Honestly I was surprised this drill bit lasted drilling 15 holes through 10 year old concrete. The first 5 holes went smooth but as I went on the tip was dualing fairly quick I was still able to get the job done but with a bit more force and alternating between forward and reverse on the hammer drill. Also the threading for the shaft insert is deep, so the one amazon recommends will not work, you need the one with more threads, which is double the price, but for an all in cost of 65 bucks compared to Hundreds of dollars for that size bit. I would say its well worth it. I am not sure how much more use I will get out of the bit but I would recommend.

Drilled right through some very hard concrete
This core drill drilled right through some very hard concrete.. kept water running in the hole to keep the bit cool with no problems

Only for concrete
If your drill only in any type of cement is an excellent core bit but is not made for steel, that is why the 3 starts

Thanks

NOT 1-1/4” I missed my return window unfortunately but the bit is too large. I use 1-1/4” dia bits to insert specific concrete sleeves. I have may brands of bits and they all work. This bit is about 1-5/16”L but it says 1-1/4” on the side. Nothing fits. Bit is useless now. If size matters be careful buying this it isn’t accurate.
