Great multimeter. Have no complaints (almost)
This is an awesome multimeter. The functions are second to nine basically... Even if considering a lot more expensive offerings. Instead of dreadful 9v battery, this one uses 2xAA which I think is way better. It's ability to read pF is very useful as these usually the only unmarked capacitors. The display is easy to read and not needing to switch ranges is very useful. Even the simingly useless NCV function is actually quite useful once you have it. The accuracy of measurements is very convincing. Except that with pF measuring, you kind of have to compare no capacitor reading and with capacitor as the quality of contact, state if the leads, and some environmental condition can skew such small capacitance ranges. However the difference between measuring capacitor and near the capacitor produces quite reasonable measurement. I think this is more or less expected.small complaints:It is a pretty slow measuring multimeter. 20K counts RMS is probably the reason and can take 2-3 seconds. However for the price, I am ok to wait.Overall, I am very pleased with this multimeter

Great little budget meter, constantly surprised by what it has in it
I bought this to replace an old 30+ year old radio-shack multi-meter. I do some electronics tinkering as a hobby, but generally used my old one to do things like test battery voltages to know if a battery in a box was still good or not.The non-contact voltage meter for AC stuff was one thing I was recently happy to find it had. It does all the basic stuff like continuity with a beep, capacitance, resistance, current, etc.For a casual "around the house multi-meter" I think it covers all the things I'd ever really need.

Good decent meter
Decent meter use it every day so far very accurate no issues no problems

The multimeter is quite acceptable in its readings across the different ranges.
The multimeter is quite acceptable in its readings across the different ranges. For day-to-day use, it works fine. However, the manual is a bit confusing with its specifications. For example: when measuring a precise reference voltage of 10.000 VDC with an accuracy of ± 0.08% + 5 counts, the meter displays a result of 9.992 VDC.

So so for general work but not for precise work
It's okay but the test leads provided show an.unusuallt high resistance..I swapped them with a high quality ser of leads that were tested on another calibrated dmm true rns and even with a top quality set this astroai meter still measured about .45 ohms. That's not very good. I put the test leads back on my calibrated fluke and got zero resistance which is what a good meter should measure. This inaccuracy means this meter is unreliable for precision work. It looks nice it has great features and the backlit display is fantastic but it just isn't going to be a dependable tool for accuracy. I sort of expected that given it's a 50 dollar device. But it is useful for non.orecusion work like testing diodes, continuity checks (ring our), measuring av and DC. But not for resistance checks where even tenth of an ohm inaccuracy is a no go.in.hundsigt should have just bought the fluke 115/7. More money but it's unlikely fluke lets inaccurate meteters pass quality standards. Astroau apparently doesn't have a quality program...obviously.

Works good - perfect for auto or home
easy to ready display, nice test leads.Leads could be a little longer but for the price I have no complaints

Great Features
Great features for the cost. Not a Fluke but the cost is not Fluke like either
