Hello, Where are these units manufactured ?. also , I"m concerned about the units smelling and drawer bases are cardboard

Can’t say off hand were they were made but the bottoms are fine the whole item is great I a was surprised just how well they were made i have mine in my bathroom next to sink its great had a piece of glass cut for top to keep top from getting splashed I find its a great little unit

Is anyone able to tell me please what the height would be if the legs were cut off? (I need something just under 70cm tall)

HI it would still be too tall for you. It is about 76cm without the legs but personally I think it would spoil the look of it without the legs even if you paint where you cut them off.
