Great unit
Has great range and clarity on the receiving end. Makes my light show 10× better. Can't beat it for the price.

Powerful transmitter... Don't underestimate seven watts
This is a fantastic little FM stereo transmitter, don't let the 7 watts fool you. Also, don't use the included antenna. I highly recommend purchasing a ground plane antenna and using LMR 400 cable and mounting the antenna as high up as possible. My range has increased to 3 miles in fringe areas and a solid 1.5 miles on regular terrain. I put the antenna on my roof if I could, but I don't have a ladder! So it's located atop of my shed! I paid more than I should have because it came with a small indoor antenna, that's my only regret!

A step-up
I bought this FM transmitter, because my Whole Home FM transmitter was producing at static buzz between songs, on my Christmas light show. This new transmitter is crystal clear and sends the signal a lot further than the Whole Home. Spend the extra $30 and buy this transmitter.

Long range.
This transmits for blocks. Makes my tv signal go down so I turn it off when I want to watch tv.

Very Limited range
For me, this underperformed....I couldn't get it to go past about 200 feet without the reception being fuzzy or fading in and out. Too late to return it so I'm buying a different one.
