Holosun HE509-RD Enclosed Solar Powered Red Dot Sight w/ 507C Mounting Plate - ACSS Vulcan Reticle

I concealed carry, & do a lot of range training so an enclosed emitter like this one fit the bill perfectly. It's easy to keep free from lint & dust & the titanium housing is super durable. I over torqued my first one & sheared the screws but holosun sent me out a replacement set right away. Great customer service. Purchased a second one so my carry gun can match my training gun. Great optic for the money.

So I was vastly skeptical about trying this HoloSun 509 ACSS red Vulcan reticle compared to my other reflex red dots because I wasnt sure how it would function on my P320 XCompact but also because I didn't want a gawkingly huge optic on my concealed carry. This thing never let me down at the range or in the field and looks absolutely amazing. The reticle doesn't get washed out in bright light because it utilizes the solar panels with the battery to automatically brighten the reticle or dim it when needed. You can brighten it dim it manually as well if you'd like. The reticle shuts off after 10mins of non-use and incporates shake-awake technology so it comes on when you pull it up and out of your holster. The chevron can be used to gauge your distance without guessing while aiming high for longer distances. It comes sighted in from the manufacturer and I tested that out with my bore sighter and again at the range. At 25yrds I hit 40/50 shots in my small orange/black target with slow firing. At faster pace firing at the same range I still hit between the 10-8 on the green B27 target. Then repeated the same fire rate on a single white sheet of paper. The optic is deadly and very fast to acquire target. Much faster than align rear and front iron sights, which I've done for over 30yrs. At the very tip of the chevron it's zeroed at 7 and 25yrds. At the inside bottom of the tip it hits 50yrds and between the two arms of the chevron at the bottom is 100yrds, beyond that it's a guess but with a pistol you'll never shoot that far. I love that the emitter is enclosed so it can't be obstructed by anything like snow, rain, dirt, etc. You can rack your gun using the optic off anything, even hard surfaces and really smack this thing around, drop it, bang it around and it still holds zero and works flawlessly. It's the perfect size for pistols and doesnt look big on the gun! It makes anyone's pistol more deadly and made my pistol look menacing! I love this thing! It comes with adjustment tools for the reticle, adapter plate and mounting tools. I had C&H precision send me a filler plate in place of the adapter plate to fill any tiny gaps between my slide and the optic. Phenomenal optic! I'll be getting one for each of my pistols and maybe even my shotgun. See the pictures for more details.

I love this optic. Worth every penny. You won’t be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and buy the C and H precision mounting plate. Glock plate are no good.

Mounting screws to Glock RMR plate too long. Came with 6-32x6.2mm. Had to order 6-32x5mm

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Most of my primary dots are holosun ….. especially the accs reticle, it just works very well If your using a MOS mount it was difficult to find one for my g19x. Value for money: For the price compared to other optics it delivers with its enclosed system Build quality: Solid enclosed system Sight quality: Super crisp and clear and accs reticle is perfect Brightness: Lots of bright settings Battery life: Solar and battery keeps it shining for a good time

ACCS is a great feature. The large circle always guides you to the center, so finding the reticle is never an issue. The window is fairly large as well.

The Vulcan acss is very nice
