This is for flooring only. If you are looking to add cork underlay for added warmth/acoustic insulation we offer 3mm, 6mm or 12mm cork underlayment. If any of this cork is destined for a kitchen or an entranceway, you will be required to site-finish those areas with 2 coats of Loba 2K Supra AT polyurethane. We require it's use with all of our "white" floor products. Forna cork is factory finished with a traditional cork finish = water based polyurethane. This is "good enough" for several years of wear (3-5 years). Most people choose to go ahead and apply the Loba 2K Supra AT finish to increase the wear to 5-7 years. 2 coats of Loba 2K Supra AT polyurethane. This is an anti-scratch, anti-denting polyurethane that is ceramic infused for toughness. We require it's use with all kitchen floors and all of our "white" floor products.
