These lights are brighter than any other claw-clip style grow lights I’ve had or seen. I’d recommend saving up for these lights if you’re looking for a setup with strong, bright light. The company offers a warranty to replace any bulbs for years after purchasing. Because of this, I think they are worth their price.I also have Barrina tube lights that work well. These are definitely stronger/brighter, but I still use the Barrina 12” tube lights for my indoor plant shelves. I’m using these for a 3’x4’ table of plants, and each plant gets plenty of light.There is no way to dim these lights. Instead, they come with a 4, 8, and 12 hour timer. The lights are labeled from A-D. The timer can be adjusted for each individual light (eg light A runs at all times, lights B &C run every 12 hours, light D runs every 8 hours). This feature is easy to use, especially since the lights and timer are labeled. The flat bulbs (where the light shines) are very hot to the touch, but the rest of the bulbs are intentionally open so they don’t overheat. The bulbs’ body is safe to touch no matter how long they are on. The bulbs look like a semi-warm bright white light. They don’t have any undertones of blue or red that I’ve seen with cheaper grow lights, especially some claw-style lights.

Work well! Very bright. Baby leaves are growing. Leaves sunstress easily so sometimes need more distance from the bulbs. It can get very hot on the edge of the ceramic circle. It touched my arm which hurt! The lights will burn your leaves it they get too close (see pics). As long as you space the bulbs evenly apart they are sturdy but it can be very difficult to get the balance right or get the clamp stabilized.

Edit: I am updating my review of the lamp as the seller has offered a refund. Instead of 2 stars I give 5 stars for the excellent grow bulbs and excellent customer service.Original review: Sansi grow bulbs are great, but the lamp died within a month... so now I have to look for a new lamp. I was only using 1 bulb at the time for 12 hours. I also feel the neck length is too short for the strength of the bulbs so placement can be difficult with the clip style. If it weren't for the bulbs I'd give it 0 stars.

I’ve bought two of these, have had them for almost a year, it works and it works well.My plants grow really well under these lights. The light the bulbs emit give off a bright, pleasant, slightly cool color that looks like natural light. This was a big plus for me because the violet light that traditional grow lights give off is off-putting and irritates my eyes.The timer is a great, must-have feature. You can set it and forget it for the most part. There’s room for improvement. Any time you unplug the lights or have a power outage you have to re-set the timer. Gives me flashbacks to having to reset the time on a VCR. Not a big deal, just annoying for me who’s constantly fiddling with the placement of grow lights. And I wish there were a way to control the lights through an app so I can set the timer at any time. Right now if I want to set these lights to turn on at exactly 7 AM I have to wait by the lights to turn them on and set the timer at 7 AM.I also wish these lights had a dedicated stand to just place on top of a surface. Or maybe a way to mount onto a wall. These lights can only be clipped onto things. Clipping isn’t always the sturdiest or most reliable way to place these, and I’ve run into some logistical issues that could be solved with other methods of placement.The bulbs can get really hot. Accidentally graze it for a second and it burns your skin. It feels like touching a Bluth Company Cornballer. Never. Touch. The bulb. Relatedly, if plant foliage grows close enough to the bulbs, the bulbs will scorch the plant because of all the heat it emits. This isn’t surprising considering how strong these bulbs are, but they’re worth noting. Again: Never. Touch. The bulbs. Please.The necks of these lights are not strong or sturdy enough to reliably hold up these bulbs. It seems like the bulb is too heavy for the neck so it’s really hard to keep the bulbs in place. Again, as a constant fiddler this is a frustrating pain to have to deal with. If Sansi could figure out how to build a stronger neck, this would be a nearly perfect product.If any more issues arise, I’ll update this review. Overall, I’m happy that these grow lights still work a year later. The lights themselves are excellent. Most importantly, my plants are happy and healthy under these lights. But Never touch the bulb.

Only downside is now my sun loving succulents find the actual Sun too dim and they demand more light. -(‘.’)-I love the value, ease of use, and durability. Add in the lifetime bulb replacement and how extremely well they work in my basically a cave of a studio apartment, I can’t recommend these enough.I’ll be ordering 4 more, as I need more light and have given up on using actual lamps and traditional lights in favor of these guys.If you’re creative in how you place them, they work very well as either museum like lights above a display, a funky chandelier for my plants and just blend in well, with some DIY power and imagination.The timers work well but I use WiFi outlets to allow for 16 hours of light. The cost is minimal due to being LED and they don’t heat up my home as much, but do get HOT so watch placement of these suckers.I read you can use any full spectrum white light LED bulbs and have tried those but nope. They were very blinding and blue, but didn’t work as well as these warm colored bulbs. I don’t need them to the right on top of my plants to be effective either.

Great lights !Works better clipping low and have the lights going up. I clipped mine on a bar ad pointed the lights down, they did flop a bit but not too bad. You can add a bit of string to help support them if you clip the lights above the lights.

The clamp itself is sturdy but the lights are difficult to adjust (they don’t stay) and if hung in a certain way, get top heavy. The bulbs get very hot and I’ve burned myself touching them momentarily. To the point they burnt my plant leaves!I’ve had to tie up the lights to keep my plants safe but may need to get something else. It’s not very versatile but the timer works well and the cord is a nice length. Not sure I’d buy again though!
