Leica Disto FTA360 Tripod Adapter, Red/Black

This is a great tool to help us dial in the accuracy when taking measurements especially on longer measurements.

For longer distances, this adapter really helps for fine adjustment of the laser spot onto the desired target. The knobs allow for smooth adjustment in the horizontal and vertical axes. If I had one wish, it would be that the adjustment was even more fine than it is, but it works very well.

Although it's all plastic, the precision fine-tune adjustment is the critical and invaluable feature. I especially like how it can manually (brutally) be pushed into approximate position without worry about messing up the fine-tune mechanism. Perfect fit for my E7500i.

Expected

This lets you take full advantage of your high end Leica LDM. I was having trouble with reflectorless shots over 150’ before I got this. Mounted it to a construction instrument tripod via Pacific Laser Co adapter and hit a 3/4” thick high voltage cable from 200’ and the side of a brick house (at 45 Deg) from 550’. A must have for an outdoor Leica LDM.

The Leica Disto tripod mount is a must for accurate angles or long distance measuring. I found it quick to use and appears well made.
