I do my own pedicures since my feet are ticklish. And I like Orly Bonder as a Base Coat because it's easy to apply and it keeps my polish from chipping...it holds the polish in place and, is a great product for what I need.

First, I should clarify that I never put color on my fingernails - my job and hobbies necessitate short nails, and I think color on them would look silly- at least for me. Toenails are a different story, however - color looks great on bare feet, in strappy heels and flip flops. Orly chemists really knocked it out of the park with this one! Their marketing / packaging designers, too. It's a great weight for a base coat and the rubberized finish is *perfect* for bonding to gorgeous colors that last and last. Despite being a light orange liquid (which I think looks cool paired with the purple handle and label print) it protects your nail from discoloration and by itself, even leaves a durable layer of protection and nice level of clear shine. It dries pretty quickly, given the additional texture it has that its competitors do not. HiI love that the exterior finish of the bottle and handle have sort of a rubberized feel that mimics the polish inside. And the brush is made of long, sturdy bristles in a wide, flat, (slightly tapered at the edges) configuration that holds plenty of product & makes distributing this base coat across your nail super easy - in most cases I only need to dip into the bottle once and can cover up to three nails, each in one pass. This stuff truly is great - no need to look further for a reliable base coat as it is superior at what it does.

Absolutely the best base coat I have ever used. I washed my fingers with plain water, then swiped my nails with a little alcohol and applied this base coat. My polish still looks great and not chipped after doing dishes by hand and cleaning my house. Love it.

I have to say that this is definitely an amazing base quote. I’m just coming off of acrylics and I had some lumps and bumps and just using regular nail polish. I saw every lump there was I tried this and it looked as if I buffed out my nails, no lumps no bumps And my nail polish lasted a pretty decent amount of time. This is my go to base coat when I want the job done well.

Fantastic base that dries down quickly. It will definitely keep your manicure intact for a while. The only thing to keep in mind is that it does contain PVB, which did cause my nails to start peeling after a while.

I love this product. It helps my polish adhere to my nails & last longer.

This is the best nail polish base I have ever used. Dried quickly and my color going on one week without any complaints. It evens out the nail imperfections and applies smoothly.

I’m 73 and have done my own nails all my life because I enjoy it! I have bought every base and topcoat known to man. Never got to 7 days without chips, cracks and peeling polish. I bought this the beginning of August. I put one coat on my natural nails as a base coat, two coats of polish and one more of this product as a topcoat. A full 14 days later, it did not chip once. At worst, about mid week of the second week it starts to thin and wear a little at the tips only. I did it a second time because I thought the first time was a fluke. I used an expensive polish the first time and a $2 bottle the second. Same results. This is the real deal!

This base coat is fantastic. The rubber cap makes it very easy to open even when the cap is stuck on a little bit, and it's quite a large bottle too! I use Orly Bonder to apply chrome powder onto regular nail polish and it works fantastically! Would buy again :-)

Actually as good as it says. Tried many and winter nails so so bad...this has a lovely finish smoothing out ridges etc from extension damage .holds Polish very well.
