This cleaner is great - cleans my stainless steel sink like a dream and the scent is great. I feel it's infinitely better than The Pink Stuff paste which is what I formerly used. It took me about 10 minutes to get the freaking lid off. I took a spatula and scrapped all of the contents into a small mason jar and just trashed the can and lid. Too bad it's not in a recyclable plastic container or an eco-pouch!

This is my favorite holy Grail cleaner! It cleans everything! I really do mean E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! I use it to clean my pots and pans. I used it to clean off all of my deck chairs for summer. It's takes care of rust and stains like a champ and I love that it is eco-friendly and pet friendly and safe so I can use it outside without having to worry if one of my cats is going to drink the water from cleaning the chairs off the deck or any of that and get sick. It really is my go-to for all of the really hard things.

So I had read the reviews before I ordered, that the container for this stuff was a bear but I bought it anyway, thinking, how bad can it be? Well, it is THAT bad! First off, it was dented, which was probably the major issue. I had a hard time getting that lid off and once I did, I just couldn't get it back on at all so I transferred the product to another container I had here. But, as to the actual cleaner, it's nice. Seems to work well. The scent is OK but I'm not sure I'd buy it again, due to the container issue.

Love the product once I opened the bottom of the can with a can opener since I was unable to remove the lid….twisting didn’t work! Trying to pop it open didn’t work…the picture makes it look easy to remove but beware …. It is almost impossible to open…had to put it in a tupperware container so I could still use it! PLEASE MAKE A BETTER CONTAINER!

I have used Astonish paste cleaner for years. I deal in vintage ceramics and this is the only thing I have ever found that gets rid of stains in old ceramic and pottery decorative planters. Having said that, and not being able to find “Astonish Paste Cleaner” anywhere, I realized they changed the name to “The Good One”. Great! That is until I tried to open it. After bloody nails and a pretty dented can, I used a can opener on the bottom. Come on you guys! You are better than this! You deserve a 5+ rating on the product but are getting a 4 due to the packaging!

This cleaner is okay but it’s not as good as the original ASTONISHING paste.

Ich finde die Paste sehr gut, weil eine Freundin sie mir mitgebracht hat. Aber die Lieferzeit war nicht wie angegeben und als das Päckchen gestern ankam, war die Paste ausgelaufen und klebrig. Deshalb schicke ich es heute an Amazon zurück!

Usavo i prodotti Astonish quando ero studentessa in Inghilterra. Sono contentissima che finalmente li trovo pure in Italia. The good one è una crema meravigliosa! Si usa in tutti i superfici e ha un bellissimo odore.

I've now used this for everything from removing tannin stains from tea cups to cleaning the oven, removing the grotty grout in my Mum's bathroom, and making trainers look like new. It's non-toxic, so it's safe to use around small children and pets or by those with respiratory conditions. It's wonderful to be able to clean a grotty oven without worrying about the inhalation of any nasty fumes. It's fantastic stuff with the effective cleaning power of old-school Ajax or Vim, but it does not scratch up surfaces like they did, so the bottoms of your nicest cooking pans will look like new, and it won't scratch your acrylic bath. I'm particularly impressed with how nicely it's brought up my ancient stainless steel kitchen sink and draining board. Use to clean stained wood before buffing up with olive oil, and you'll never know the surface was ever harmed. A bit of patience was required to bring our old rusty iron BBQ up to as new standard, ready for seasoning, after we'd carelessly left it out exposed to the elements all winter, but it was not the awful chore I'd anticipated, and I only had to rub gently instead of scrubbing away like a banshee as you normally would. I've found it also works wonders on tired grout, and am finally happy with the as new condition of my ancient PVC window frames. It reeks to high doh of peppermint essential oil, which is weird cos you may have to remind yourself that you are not smothering your hob in toothpaste. However, this pungent scent comes with a hidden advantage since midges, mice, and rats hate the smell of mint. This makes it ideal to use on your PVC window frames in high summer, and your skirting boards at any time. I've found that for all applications, I need less of it than I expected, which makes it not only eco-friendly and plastic-free but much more economical than you'd think, too. It's the perfect product for an era when so many of us are struggling financially. Deffo worth buying if you want to do a proper old-school Spring or end-of-tenancy clean to a standard that would satisfy even your Great-Grandmother. Once you have opened it the first time, always wipe the lid and edge of the tin with a nice, clean cloth. That way, you'll be able to get the lid off again for all future uses. The very tight lid noted by several other reviewers does thankfully loosen a bit over time, which makes it much easier. My 87-year-old Mum is resigned to using my half-full pot, so the lid is very easy to get off, as she has very arthritic hands these days. That gives me the excuse needed to purchase a new pot for myself. Lastly, it is plastic-free, eco-friendly, and non-toxic, and manufactured right here in the UK.
