I purchased this item because, as much as I love them, the ceramic ones I have keep my coffee hot for maybe 5 minutes. I am in the process of drinking my first cup out of this mug. I gave it an overall 5 star rating. Seems well made, has a nice lid, love the stoneware, external look and feel, and seems to at least be keeping the coffee at the warm setting. Some criticisms by others that I agree with: Lid is nice; fits, opens and closes well but I do not think this is the mug for you if you are purchasing for traveling. No way it seems leakproof enough for that. Handle is fine but could definitely be longer, thicker and wider. Overall though, since I use it at my desk at home, a nice purchase.

Befroe i got ths mug my coffee would not stay warm. Now i don't have to worry about it staying warm. Great coffee mug keep my coffee warm . Stay warm for many of hour.Hold enough coffee for half of my day. Great job on the design of the coffee mug. Thank you! Brian

I think this is a really good mug, worth the purchase, I like the way it looks and feels, and I need the extra large coffee in the morning. The mug itself does measure at 16 oz when filled to rim without lid. Since lid fits down into mug, the usable volume is reduced slightly. This mugs lid is interestingly innovative, and looks good, but does NOT seal completely to prevent leaks, and interferes with sipping through it because the cover does not slide far enough out of the way. So, don't overfill, and if you require leakproof, keep looking. The lid also is somewhat difficult to clean because disassembly is a little tricky. While it may not keep coffee piping hot for many hours, coffee stays at least warm for a couple hours. Good enough for me. Worth the purchase to me.

This is the best Insulated Coffee Mug I've ever had for keeping coffee hot. It's not easy to hold for many reasons. The handle isn't designed for the hands of a man it's too small. The cup itself is quite large making it uncomfortable to grip. The shape is fine but to large in diameter, a 12 or 14 oz. size would be preferred. Don't even think of putting it in your car because you'll have a bear of a time finding a cup holder large enough.

Look good. Work good. Are they gonna keep stuff hot/cold as long as a Yeti? No. If I wanted that I would have bought a Yeti.. they Do keep stuff hot/cold for a decent amount of time... All I wanted it to do. ...p.s. they are not 100 percent leak proof but they NEVER claimed to be... The lids are nice and do stop the big spills. All it says it will do.

I love the look and the size. It also keeps things hot. What I don't like, and they do claim this in their ad, is that it does leak when your drinking.

The public accessible coffee machine where I live dispenses 6 ounces. Too small! Most cups are too tall to fit under the dispenser. This fits perfectly for a double run and the lid prevents spilling until I can get it home. It also does a fairly decent job of keeping the coffee hot until I'm finished. Love it!!!

I love this mug. It is dishwasher safe (can't get easier than that). It keeps my coffee warm for well over an hour. Also the cover keeps my coffee warm and inside the mug.

I am a bit disappointed actually. The lid is not sturdy, if the cup falls, it will spill for sure. The picture also shows the cup filled to the brim, well you will not be able to drink from it with the top on for sure. It has to have at least an inch empty from the top of the cup to be able to drink with the top on. my two bits!I don't think I would, actually I am sure I wouldn't buy it again...sorry nice cup!

I got this for me to have at work, as I am by a very cold doorway where things turn to ice very quickly in the cold weather.It looks good, and it seals well with the lid down. I have mistakenly put it in my bag half full and expecting the contents to be tipped all over - but not a drop leaks out,I bought boiling water i it from an urn and even wit the opening it remains boiling hot a good few hours later.It is an excellent mug, small enough to fit in my lunchbag and keeps everything boiling - a must have for anyone at work or out in the wild - just love it
