I bought this unit to set extra heavy duty quarter inch rivets. This tool has been perfect for the job And it comes with 5 interchangeable heads. The unit comes with a variety I would classify it as a starter set of rivets. Right away I was needing to purchase additional quarter inch size rivets for the heavy duty projects I was working on. It takes 2 hands to set those rivets but this tool has been perfect. A bonus feature for me is when the rivets are applied there is a container that holds the metal shaft once the rivet is set. I think this tool is well made and I think it should last for many years.

Works as expected. Can be hard to squeeze with the larger rivets. If you need to do more than around 6, get a powered tool. The included rivets are mid grade, but do the job fine. Works better with quality rivets. The really cheap ones jam.If you need one for the one and awhile use, this tool is perfect.

Finally, I got my hands on this new tool, and it has proven to be exceptional.Contrary to my initial expectations, using this tool requires minimal effort. Its long handles provide a comfortable grip, ensuring smooth operation. As soon as I received the tool, I put it to work on a metal storage cabinet that had loose or missing rivets. Surprisingly, the tool effortlessly handled the task with great leverage. Even the 3/16" rivets posed no challenge; with just two hands, I set and popped them effortlessly. Initially, I had my doubts about the rivet size, so I tried it out with one hand, and it confirmed my suspicion—it was indeed the 3/16" size.In conclusion, I am thoroughly impressed with this tool's performance. It is a great tool that provides excellent value for the price. I have complete confidence in its durability and usability for future projects."

This product is well built - no plastic, all steel, heavy weight. So I was excited to give it a try. Put in a large rivet, easily compressed the rivet. The long arms really give an advantage which I need as I'm replacing large stainless steel rivets.Only one problem. The cut stem of the rivet was stuck - it's supposed to fall into the plastic bottle. I tried loosening it according to instructions in the manual but that didn't work. So I took a blunt point long nose plier and pushed on the rivet and it fairly easily dropped into the bottle. BUT now my pliers are stuck in the tool and will not budge. See pictures. Nothing I've tried will loosen the pliers. I'm guessing they're stuck in the "claws" that pull the rivet.The whole tool appears so well built and the instruction manual is well written, I have to believe this is a rare flaw in the tool and have reordered the same tool. When that one works as it should, I will amend this review to 5 stars.

Works great for large rivets, provided rivets seem true to size.

Good value for the money

Bought to change out motor in vehicle door - needed some rivets. This was exactly what I needed and it worked perfectly. I've put it in the workshop for future use.
