I just received it. The tools provided very impressive to make assembly easy. I'm not that strong so it took quite a bit of force for me to slip in the upper part of the handle and get that pin to pop out. I actually had to use mallet to do it with a tap tap on one side and a tap tap on the other to keep it going in evenly til it finally clicked in. I consider that extra step a plus because it is tight and very stable. I have really weak leg muscles (working on building more strength there). I'm 140 lbs and felt very stable on it. However because of my weak leg muscles, I used both the handle and a small, light aluminum ladder next to me with one hand on the handle and the other on the ladder and it was easy. Maybe with a little muscle building I'll be able to use it without the ladder. It's nice looking and was wrapped nicely. I can see getting a lot of use out of this. I debated with myself whether I should have gotten a shorter step since I even struggle with my garage step, but every inch counts when you need to reach something. This is a 9.5" step whereas my ladder first step is 11". I suppose I could easily scoot over that that if I needed that extra 1.5". Even when my legs were stronger I always used 2 ladders the small one besides the tall one for stability and to put things on. This is just a nice wider platform though it is narrow if you have the bar in front of you as opposed to the side which makes the step wider. But because I need 2 hands to get up I need the bar in front of me, not just a side push up. I sometimes have trouble getting off the toilet and keep a cane there to assist. 2026 is going to be my year of health so if you're in your late 50s or early 60s, I recommend considering things like this because believe me if you live alone, it can feel really helpless when you want to do something and simply cannot do it safely when they were so very easy to do not so very long ago. The last 5 years really took a toll on my health and fitness. That's going to change in 2026. Merry Christmas and Happy New year to you all. Next I'm looking at suction bars for the bathtub with indicators so they don't just pop off into the tub and that are not that hard to push in to lock. Individually these things can be expensive, so get quality items on sale if on a tight budget like me. This was $24. Last note while this stool is very sturdy, it has a 300 lb limit probably because it doesn't have cross bars on the bottom legs. It does have a solid metal plate step and there's great cross bracing under that step that I have no fear it will crumple in the middle. There's a strong metal square in the middle and the legs are mounted to it that give it a good solid cross and stong under support. If I were over 250 lbs or so I might consider something with cross supports on the legs as well. I've no doubt this would hold 300 lbs -- just something to consider for safety and depending on your usage. I plan to use this a lot and want it to last. Will update if I feel differently in future.

Very sturdy. Adjustable height adjustment is great. Assembly was a breeze, included all fasteners and they even included the needed screwdriver and wrench. Instructions were easy to read and follow even though you don’t really even need instructions.

Wasn't sure what to expect with the price but it was available quickly. I was surprised with the quality, fit, and finish. To make this product super spectacular were the included phillips screwdriver and socket wrench. I could put everything together in about 5-10 minutes without ever having to go search for tools. Everything you need is there. Have put some good use on the stool and it works well and is very sturdy! Would highly recomend and will be ordering two more for the other vehicles. Thanks!
