From my wife: If she could give a lower rating, she would. This product did not do anything for the dark circles under her eyes. The color of the “color corrector” was not nearly as light as was shown. The worst thing was that it caused severe wrinkles under her eyes whereas other correctors do not. Her eyes look so bad after using it that she washed it off and used her previous concealer. She had high hopes but it was a waste of money.

I’ve been using the VELAMO Advanced Luminous Under Eye Corrector, and it’s a really nice quick-fix product for tired eyes — especially on busy mornings. The first thing I noticed is the cooling metal applicator tip, which feels amazing and helps de-puff right away. The formula itself is lightweight and blends easily, giving a subtle brightening effect that helps minimize dark circles without looking heavy or cakey. It layers well under concealer or makeup, but I’ve also worn it alone for a more natural look, and it still makes a noticeable difference. It doesn’t crease much throughout the day, which is a big plus. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the coverage is more on the sheer side — great for brightening, but not full correction if you have darker circles. Best for: everyday use, quick refreshes, and anyone wanting a lightweight, natural under-eye brightener with a little skincare benefit. Perfect for early mornings or post-tennis glow-ups.

Settles too thick

I love this product! For a dupe it works great, and it’s half the price of others. I will definitely be purchasing this when mine runs out. Very happy with my purchase.

Typically, 90% of facial products I purchase cause some sort of allergy or breakout so I was a little hesitant to try something new, especially on the sensitive eye area with a product that contains retinol. However, I have been very satisfied so far. I know it's been a few weeks and it could be a combination of using the Vitamin C Serum, along with this Velamo Advanced Retinol Eye Serum, but this product has not caused any issues at this point. I have actually noticed better elasticity around the eyes, as well as some additional volume. It's way too early to determine whether the product will also work with the other 2 problem areas (fine lines and dark circles in the inner pat of the eyes close to the nose), but I am optimistic. The eye serum is extremely easy to apply with the pump dispenser and it feel light and creamy when first apply before it is absorbed by the skin. Just as important, the company seems to have a vested interest in seeing the product succeed. It's hard to find companies these days that stand behind their products and follow up with the buyer to see how things are coming along. Overall, I am highly impresses just a few weeks in and hope I have found a keeper after trying at least a dozen other eye serums in the past.

After having used an entire bottle of this eye serum over a period of 2 months, I can confirm that it does work. The fine wrinkles around my eyes are much less apparent. The deeper wrinkles are starting to look softer. I am truly impressed considering the very reasonable price point. The skin under my eyes is a bit less puffy. The dark circles are also slightly lighter. With respect to puffiness and dark circles, I suspect the improvements would more significant with better sleep but I had an hectic schedule the past 2 months and did not get enough sleep. The serum has a pleasant texture; not too thick or too watery. It is lightweight and feels luxurious. I use it following the instructions and the serum absorbs quickly into the skin and leaves the skin visibly very hydrated. There are quite a few ‘nice-to-have’ ingredients in this serum that are not listed on this site, such as jojoba oil and squalane which are both excellent moisturizers. The only negative point I can think of is the pump system. I do love that it’s there to avoid contaminating the serum. However, the amount of serum that comes out with one pump is not consistent and sometimes there is too much coming out. To get consistent and sufficient amounts of serum I am deliberately careful with the amount of force I use on the pump in order to let out 3 very small drops on the tip of a finger (a pea-sized amount). This is enough to cover the area around one eye. Overall, I think this is an outstanding product and the price point is more than reasonable. Do remember that it takes time to see results when using retinol. You need to let your skin regenerate before noticing visible changes. For most adults under 50 years old, the skin turnover cycle lasts between 28 and 42 days; for adults over 50 years old, this can increase to up to 84 days.

I’ve been using this eye cream every night over the past two weeks, just a little pea-sized amount gently massaged around my under eyes… and I’m pretty satisfied with its performance overall. I can’t say much about its age-defying properties (I don’t think I’ve used it long enough to really determine that), but I can say that that my makeup (specifically my concealer) has applied much more smoothly since I’ve been wearing it, with significantly less creasing as the day goes on. This is pretty significant because the weather has been nightmarishly hot in my part of the world, and usually my concealer is a cakey, creased mess at the end of the day during this time of the year. I did make a slight mistake during the first few days of using it, and that was that I’d apply it during the daytime as part of my morning routine. I noticed that this kind of affected my primer around my eye area, which ultimately led to my concealer and my foundation breaking up at just that area pretty quickly, even when I used setting spray. It was clear that this was only happening at my undereye area, and using this cream was the only main difference in my routine, so I stopped using it in the morning and it’s given me no problem since. So, my overall recommendations: Get this cream, because I think it IS indeed working. However, use it at night only so it can properly absorb into your skin whilst you sleep. If you use it during the day, avoid using it with makeup or it might break the product(s) up.

Have been using it for 7 days and my dark circles are visibly reduced and skin seems firmer. Very impressed. And as shown in the video the applicator is really smart and easy to apply, just tap at the end, simple and easy with no mess. Great product.

I don’t know why the product pictures are « absent », because this VELAMO Advanced under-eye cream feels good 👌 Upon application, the lightweight cream slightly tickles, but by gently massaging under and around my eyes, it soften up. It leaves a pleasant sensation and it seems to fill up some fine line, which is the goal. As for puffiness, I didn’t see changes, but don’t have much either.
