HG Natural Stone Impregnating Protector, Product 32, Colourless Protective Layer Coating for Marble, Limestone, Sandstone & Granite, Repels Dirt, Grease & Oil – 1L (506100106)

This is a clear liquid. The instructions suggest rolling it on - two coats. We have recently had a Bath Stone hearth installed. Bath Stone is a very porous and fragile sandstone and we wanted to protect the hearth from stains. This product was easy to apply and we left it a few days to dry in. Once dry the impact on the colour of the stone is minimal - it does not darken it at all. There is no odour. We have only had one spillage - of water - since and it beaded on the surface for easy mopping up. Overall, I can highly recommend this product for protecting porous stone.

Looks to have done the job on an outside marble table which had got filthy over the years. Only time will tell how well it is now protected.

I applied the product to my recently installed limestone hearth. It was easy to apply and didn’t change the appearance of the stone. I always find HG products to be safe and reliable for cleaning and protecting natural stone.

ordered one day and delivered the next. Easy to use on Italian marble wall tiles which need covering every year. Dries quickly so can put on a second coat. Have used tis for many years.

Does what it says on the bottle.

Product arrived quickly and was well packaged. I use it to 'paint' our slate tiles which need to be protected every 6 months or so to stop water drops from soaking in to our kitchen floor. Looks good when first done. Isn't slippery. Good stuff!

not suitable for granite kitchen worktops, therefore returned and refunded.
