A great tool and gift for that keeps on giving. Easy to carry and sharper than expected. At first glance, it appears pretty small, however, keeping it in the car - it has proven to be extremely effective in times of need as it is small enough to carry and versatile enough to be extremely useful.

I bought this for my son. He loved it, so I bought my husband one, also. It's a really useful tool. It's very heavy duty for a small compact item. The ax blade is very sharp. There are lots of really handy tools included. It is small, but it can do so much. My son is grown, and my husband is over 50. They both loved this multi-tool. They tried out everything that came with it. It was a hit. My husband carries his with him in his motorcycle saddlebags. If he's out in the woods, he attaches it to his belt. For the price, it's a great item with useful, well made tools that are all handy to have. You never know when you might need them. I would highly recommend this item. I might even get one for myself.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I read the reviews of a number of these types of tools (there are three or four or more brands), and it's hard to really know which one is 'best'. The RoverTac does seem to have a fair number of good reviews both on Amazon and on the internet. That said, I think you need to know what you are buying this for. Some do not see the practical benefit of such a small axe, but I think it can have some value if you understand its limits. I briefly tried out the axe and saw on a small tree limb. It is not designed for a full tree, even a small one, unless you have a lot of time to hack away. I got this thinking I could possibly carry it when I go hunting. It would be a good tool to quickly remove a branch or two around my blind. I think that the axe could be sharper, but that can be remedied at home. The tools do not 'lock', so be careful! I think it could be useful in batoning wood/ kindling for a camp fire. Many test knives to see how well they do on this, but personally I don't think a knife needs to be used this way, unless you have no other options. This tool, with the hammer on the opposite side of the axe, would allow you to baton wood without adding extra wear and tear to a knife by using the striking wood on the hammer side. I like the sheath - it's sturdy. The tool, overall, seems well made, but again, this would not be something I would necessarily depend on for heavy work every day. The metal on the handle does seem a bit thin. It's a good emergency/survival tool for limited tasks. Because the handle also incorporates the tools you will want to use a glove if you are going to use this for any length of time. Overall, a good emergency/survival/limited use tool.

Very helpful during our camping trip.

Definitely a hefty weighty tool. Used this on a backpacking trip and it was just what I needed. All the tools in one. The black finish is chipping away but that’s to be expected. It has all the tools you could need I think. Easy to hold.

I’m constantly find myself using it would buy again

Lots of great attachments. But its pretty small. Can't imagine cutting much wood with this.

Size functions as advertised, obviously will not handle heavy or even normal work but suits my light weight tent pegs. Very prompt delivery. Spring “tang” very poor quality and was broken when I unwrapped, so who ever packed item knew it was broken before it left the sweat shop in China.
