Works great! Easy setup - just plug it in!
I have several Logitech track balls that are over 10 years old and still work fine so I thought I'd try this Logitech webcam since it was on sale and I've had good experience with Logitech products.I had been using the builtin camera in my old Dell laptop but now was using a larger monitor so when I looked at the monitor I wasn't looking at the laptop camera and it seemed odd with my head always turned.I was a bit concerned about how I would hook the web cam up but fortunately it was a simple plug and play. I just plugged it into my laptop and it worked fine. The picture quality is much better than my 2017 old laptop camera. I zoom once a week with old friends who have moved away and have been using it for several months now without a problem.I do have 2 complaints:1. The instruction booklet that came with it has such tiny font that I couldn't read it. Fortunately, just plugging it in worked (I do have a Logitech software that works with my Logitech trackman so I don't know if that helped or not). LOGITECH SHOULD USE 12 font size in their instruction booklets. REMEMBER - baby boomers and people with vision issues also use computers and buy webcams!2. My new LG 32 inch HDMI monitor is very thin so the camera doesn't attach securely to the top of the monitor. It will sit there, but occasionally it seems to drop down a bit and then I have to re-adjust it to aim on where I'm sitting. They should make the bracket that attaches smaller so it is more secure with newer thin monitors.I still gave it 5 stars because of the camera quality and the easy plug in setup.

GREAT! Easy to install and use immediately!
LOVE IT! I have never had Logitech fail me. Arrived quickly, plugged it in, and Ta-dah! I had a much better video with my previous cam and no need to download software. I'm using it with my mac mini but love that it is portable and easy that I can use it with my laptop when I need to. I love the slider to cover the camera when not in use. The light lets you know when the camera is on. I have not used the microphone feature of this camera, so I can't review that function.

Good inexpensive webcam!
Super easy to set up, my desk is really long so I needed an extension cord for the USB cable but if your PC is directly under the desk it should be totally fine. The quality is great, for some reason it is a little zoomed in but again, not an issue as long as the camera is a a normal distance from you. This is also attached to a small TV I use for a monitor so it is wider than a regular monitor but the clip stays great.

Plug and play, inexpensive, could be a little sharper, could have a better mic
Plug and play USB webcam, great for when you use a separate larger monitor and keyboard as the main monitor for your laptop, or for any time you need HD video for videoconferencing using Zoom, MS Teams, etc. This webcam has a physical camera cover that slides over the lens to guarantee privacy, can be tilted up and down to properly frame you, and unlike many webcams has a narrower field of view to let the user fill more of the image and show less of what's behind and beside you... great for when you take a call in a public area. I chose it for that reason, plus for my excellent experiences with other Logitech products. It also has a built-in microphone, so it supports pretty much any modern desktop or laptop for videoconferencing. And, it's hard to beat the price. Is it as good as my professional Olympus E-M1 Mark III 20 MP digital camera when used as a webcam? Perhaps. My wife much prefers this Logitech because you CAN'T see every pore and wrinkle. I prefer the digital camera because I shoot high end webinars and need its capabilities. If you're looking for a webcam that makes you look as good or even slightly better, that even a nontechnical user can plug in and use on either PC or Mac, this is a good choice.I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could for these reasons: the mic can be a little muddy (lack of high frequency response), and I wish it was a little sharper. But for the price? Can't beat it.

Very happy customer of this WebCam
At work, I have two monitors and a laptop. The laptop sits off to the side. Whenever I’m non-conference calls people were just seeing the side of my head. Not attractive. So I ordered one of the cheaper WebCams that I could find that at least had a brand name. My gosh, this thing is great. Everyone’s asking me which WebCam I picked out because it looks good to everyone else as well. So I guess I’m a fan. Buy this and you probably will be too.

Poor picture and low light performance; like something from 15 years ago
While certainly inexpensive, I can't recommend this camera. Its color accuracy is poor, colors undersaturated (especially the greens, which seems to be a pervasive Logitech issue even in their more expensive cameras) and doesn't do well in low light. It has real issues with white balance and exposure control, with an exposed light source in the background sure to give it far more trouble than most other webcams being made today. Installing the Logitech apps can help a little, but those apps are not the best I've seen and take up more disk space then they have any business doing. It does have the advantage of being "plug it in and you're in business"; Windows and Mac both know how to deal with it out-of-the-box without installing all the extra software. This is fine for basic functionality and is the main upside of this camera: It Just Works (kinda), but if the quality of your Zoom sessions matter, chances are a laptop's built-in camera will do at least as good a job. I can't really recommend this though, as there are much, much better cameras available for only slightly more (including other Logitech offerings).Bottom line: this doesn't perform like a modern webcam. Its quality isn't even as good as the decade-old Logitech C615 i have in my Box O' Junk. You can do better, even for the money.
