Q: Will it fit a 2017 X5 35i?

It did not fit my 2018 x5 so I returned

Q: Does this item include the hardware shown in the product description/photos?

If you are buying it for a BMW E70, it comes with washers and nuts for mounting. You will remove the existing thin and lightweight bumper and put this in its place. You can reuse the OEM hardware or use the new stuff that comes with the bumper. Please note that you will need to buy a trailer electrical wiring kit and a way to mount the connector.

Q: Does this fit a 2017 X6 (sdrive35i) without having to cut or modify bumper?

I installed it on my 2018 BMW X5 with out cutting anything. Worked great

Q: Does this hitch replace the rear bumper all together?

No, you have to remove the back bumper to put it on and then you put the bumper back on over it, It essentially gets installed behind it. Takes a lot of skill. I would put it at a 7 out of 10 on skill/tool level.
