I have had these lanterns for four years. I've had a few that quit lighting but the others are still lighting up. I've always had them in my pool. As long as you have them in the sunlight they will continue to light up at night. There is no maintenance except when you first blow them up. I do let the air out of them before i put them away until next summer. They are light weight and tend to blow out of the pool when the wind blows. But they still lumenese.

They are so easy to use. You never have to worry about them! They look great in the pool at night.

Our pool does not have a light so these glowing balls are helpful. Plus they add a fun punch of color!

Bought 2 boxes (8 balls total) opened 2 days before party and only 2 of the 8 lit up!I bought them early so it's passed the return date.Asking for replacement but won't be in time for event.

I bought these to decorate a back yard, and the pool. Mission accomplished! They are bright enough to be dazzling, but aren't so bright that they look cheap or cheesy. The solar charge lasted throughout the night, and for a couple of hours into the next day. They are made out of a thick vinyl, so I feel like they wouldn't get damaged easily. The only complaint I have, is that the remote didn't seem to work for me as easily as I wanted, but I would totally buy these again!!

Great value. I love solar light stuff. The last one I had last 2-3 years. The solar worked fine but the plastic only lasts 2-3 years. Perfect.
