Great product especially if you need it more than once
First off, to keep your expectations in check, I have to say this item will not protect your tub from something heavy and/or sharp like a dropped tile or hammer. What it does excel at is protection from very small light items/debris and dust. The kit comes with some thin foam to place in the bottom and outer edge of the tub, but that is all. You still have to be mindful of the perimeter at the walls. For this I lay down two layers of 3" wide blue masking first, then I follow the procedures to install the product. I didn't use the tape that came with it, instead prefer blue masking so it is easy for me to remove and replace as needed throughout the bathroom remodel process. So far its great for my needs and keeps errant blobs of thinset, grout, or drywall compound from setting on the tub surface. It's also great at keeping small dust and debris out of the drain and I don't have to worry about that same stuff causing scratches as I'm working in and around the tub. The material is like a heavy duty tarp or commercial billboard so I will definitely get multiple uses out of it. Even if I use it only two times I still think it is worth the cost and will buy one again when needed.

Strong material .
Heavy duty and adds nice protection on tubs while working . They also provide a foam pad that you can lay first on the tub to help if tools are dropped.

Covers the inside and top edges of tub pretty well
This worked great to protect the tub from dust and grime during bathroom demolition. However, the tape to fasten it was inadequate and we had to add more tape. Also, it’s fairly thin, so we added a large piece of cardboard across the top for extra protection when removing old tile. Overall, it was helpful to protect the tub.

So glad to find this for bathtub protection during construction! Shared with my contractor
New construction and nobody protected the tub so I did. This was so easy to put in place, then I put cardboard over the bottom of the tub on top of this protector because I know the guys who insulate and drywall and paint will be putting their stepladders IN the tub (where is that emoji of me slapping my forehead). You know it happens. So glad to find this product. It is tough enough to last through construction I think. Highly recommended to my friends who do bathroom renovations too. I also purchased a self-stick "blue man" protective film to protect the shower walls, don't forget about that too.

Great product
Worth the money! If you do it for a living you get enough tape to use it a few times.

911-Does Not Fit 60x30 Kohler Bellweather Cast Iron Tub
This is a great product! It’s nicely packaged and is easy to install. BUY the LARGER size unless you are using a smaller, RV tub. We put an old quilt in the bottom of the tub prior to using this product, then the foam cushioning, and then the tough liner. It’s too small for the Kohler Bellweather 60x30 cast iron tub, so the tilers are going to have be extra careful, which is an oxymoron to why you purchase this. My last installed tubs were scratched and chipped by a different installer, as they use a piece of plywood that is placed on top, so they don’t worry about dropped tiles. But when they remove it, they slid it over the top rails on both deep soaking Duravit acrylic tubs, which had obvious movement scratches, the plywood tipped, and the corner ding’d the interiors of the tubs, that’s how they scratch both of my brand new tubs, for a brand new house.
