Tastes like I remember buckwheat tasting growing up in Ukraine. It is roasted so it does not become a mush when you cook it. I reordered it at least three times. It always arrived in good condition, the package was properly sealed. I use the proportion 2 cups of buckwheat to 5 cups of water and it works great.
