Nice, a little small but they will work fine
I haven't tried them at work yet but the depth for the canal seems ok for hearing aids and if not I can alter them myself. I think they will make a great example piece in my office.

It came in as seen in the picture.
It came in as seen in the picture. But the package with the ears came in a plastic bag. So I was a bit sketchy of it and cleaned them. Anyway, the product had listed that it could be used for recording sounds. I thought it would have a small opening at the bottom of each ear to plug in small mics. But it didn’t clarify in the summary. So I made the holes. The ears itself are fine. But they can easily catch dust on them.

Not good for earring photography
I have been looking for ear models to photograph jewelry, and all that i have tried are not good for french hook earwires because the forms are too rigid and the ear wire gets bent out of shape. These ears are quite pliable much like a human ear, and I was able to make piercings with a needle. Then I was able (as with other ear models) take photographs of simple studs and they do look good on this model. However, upon trying the first pair of earrings with earwires, they were difficult to put on and then ripped the ear model lobe upon removal, thus I was able to use them for about an hour and now they are ruined, well actually i still have one left because they come as a pair. Not worth the money, and not able to use as intended. I only give a few stars because these could be used for taking photos of other things, they came quickly and were as described...except for certain types of earrings they probably are fine. And lastly lots of small flexs ate visible on the photos because the ear is a bit sticky it attracts dust particles.

Just what I needed
Great to make an excellent binaural microphone system. You will have to punch out the bottom of the ear canals. I pushed in some small capsule-mics from the rear and then potted the backs of them with hot melt glue to hold them in place. I carved out recesses in the sides of the mannequin head for a tight fit and pressed the ear assemblies in.The ears are a bit pricy. You could make your own - there are good instructions on line - but probably would cost as much.

Excellent for demonstrating hearing aids
The ears are smaller than average, but work well in our audiology practice to demonstrate hearing aid insertion and fit. Plus, the clear material stays cleaner and doesn't look as creepy as flesh-tone.

Four Stars
Get dusty easily and not exactly work for my ear hook project.
