Sudoku Variants

I got tired of regular Sudoku pretty quickly and looked for variations. I found a few in a magazine but needed more. This book of “Variants” has easy to very difficult puzzles. All are well designed and kept me entertained for many hours.

This is a really great variety sudoku book that I have enjoyed. A page at the beginning of the book features each type of sudoku puzzle and how it works. Puzzles are challenging but not insurmountable. Pages are thick enough that you can erase multiple times without damaging the page and you don't get bleed through from the back of the page. Overall this is a high quality book that I would recommend if you enjoy sudoku but want something a little different.

My dad likes these puzzles and enjoyed the book.

I always use a pen. This book could break me of that habit as I've screwed up quite a few puzzles. My only issue is I wish it was not a paperback book. I'd gladly pay more for bigger pages in a binder.

I bought this as a a gift for my aunt, who loves these things. She was impressed by all the different types of puzzles, some of which she had never seen. Nevertheless, she has worked almost all of them and has enjoyed the different types. Every time I talk to her, she has a favorable comment about the book. I may get her another one for this birthday since the other is almost used up!

Patience and forethought a must

Very enjoyable. The puzzles are difficult, but not so diabolical as to be frustrating. My favorites are the combination puzzles (e.g., overlapping 9x9 puzzles with diagonals and odds/evens) as well the those that include three overlapping 9x9 puzzles. My only complaint is that I want MORE of those!

Nice variety in level difficulty and types of Sudoku. Adds interest to your Sudoku experience.

Love the different types of sudoku, lots of fun

I fave this to my mom as a mother's day gift. She has been doing normal sudoku or years and did not have as much motivation to do them anymore. She said this book is very enjoyable and a great alternative to normal sudoku. It has sparked her interest in sudokus again.

Chosen for variety and to keep my elderly mum occupied. It would have been given a 5 star rating if there were instructions on how to complete some of the more unusual puzzles.
