Review: Amazing - Amazing book, just what I needed to get my C# up to date from a much earlier version (C# 2.0 from 2006). Review: Recommended - My son ordered this book after his teacher recommended it. He is very happy and eager to learn. He said that everything is very well explained and he'd recommend it to anyone.

Probably the default go-to title for new dotnet devs
An updated version of a very well established series. Most developer bootcamps are based around javascript and web development. Working through this title is like taking a bootcamp for dotnet development focused roles. Many of the sections covered here are worthy of being 3-400 page titles alone such as the c# language itself, OO programming paradigm and the intricacies of working with the doting framework or even using the MS IDEs. The skills coverage for most junior roles advertised in the north of England are covered in this title. As such I think this a 'go to' title for new devs. For the motivated learner this book alone can take you quite far, you’ll write a lot of code. The book claims to be aimed at beginner or early stage intermediate programmers which I would agree fully. Devs in those categories will get great value from this title. Highly Recommended and 5 stars.

A book that covers the wide variety of the fundamental topics
I got a copy of this book for free pre publication. It covers all the basic topics you will come across in this field, it's well worth having in your library.

Still the best guide to the fundamentals of developing software in C# and .NET
I often get asked to recommend a book for someone who is new to C# and the .NET Platform and this series by Mark J. Price is the one that I point them toward. It covers the fundamentals of the C# language, the .NET Platform, and the core frameworks for building websites and services such as ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and Entity Framework. You also get the author's considered opinions and guidance on how to make the best use of the power of the language, libraries, and tooling available today in the latest version of C# and .NET.

Libro che copre tutti gli aspetti di .NET 8 e C# 12. Utilissimo anche per chi vuole dare una 'rinfrescata' alle proprie conoscenze.

Very informative and straightforward read, long as most books of this nature are but the table of contents breaks down the chapters effectively to assist readers that just need a quick tutorial on certain aspects of the development in .Net8

Ik heb al een drietal van die guusten over C# doorworsteld maar dit boek leidt mij persoonlijk tot het meeste inzicht. Ik ben er alleszins erg content mee.
