Great for attaching LED strip lights to garage door opener light sockets. My garage door opener required specific lights to not interfere with the transmitter reception. Those lights were expensive, didn't last more than a couple of years, and weren't great at lighting my garage regardless. Only really enough light to navigate through without tripping over things.My inside opener has a motion sensor that also causes the light to come on. When the most recent bulb blew, I ordered these to try connecting one of my LED strips to the socket. Works like a champ! And I can see very well to do most simple tasks without turning on all of the perimeter lights. These lights have not caused any interference with the transmitters.

Seriously.. I bought this to use in place of the lightbulb in our refrigerator to plug in a strand of Christmas lights to annoy/amuse my husband. Worked great!! He was equally annoyed and amused while I giggled everytime I opened the fridge. Very versatile & endless uses!
