Good quality tawa and best for making chilla and dosa.Weight is slightly heavy but it is required for dosa.

Poor quality
It got cracked when i tried to season it. And I know when I say it cracked you're going to think that i switched it from extreme heat to cold or vice versaBut no. I have been using cast iron and this is the first time a pan gets cracked like that.

Value for money
Buy it came in really good packaging, bought this one originally from indus valley but their product came damaged, but thanks to Amazon's packaging this one was intact and was perfect. All in all good product.

Must learn seasoning before buying
When I bought and tried making dosai directly it got stuck did not come out of the pan, I was hurry for work so I soaked it with the water and left that’s the first mistake never soak the pan with the water for a long duration’s it will get rusty. When I came back from work I just used vim to soap it and brushed it completely and cleaned and started seasoning with sunflower oil the method I followed is put a good amount of oil in the pain and keep it in a low flame and keep it for 30 mts min I did for an hour, occasionally I just stir the pan to spread the oil across eventually it forms a layer on the pan that’s what we need, once it’s done that’s all the pan is ready then I pan fried fishes, eggs, dosai even some times onions or curry leaves never gets sticky, so lesson I learnt is even though they are pre seasoned it’s mandatory for us to know how to season and how to store it properly never leave a water on the pan while storing it possible put it on a stove remove excess water and store it. Never use a soap after seasoning you can use a scrub without soap to clean the pan but no soap it will remove the seasoning meaning the oil coating, it’s a excellent tawa guys just season it before using it just do it one time, you will open a world of taste. Just try it once. I was about to return after seeing a rust into but it tends to do it it’s a iron so just season.

Overhyped and overpriced
This is one of the pathetic tawa, overpriced and overhyped , im writhing this review after using for 2 months, dosa and all not at all coming good, because of this tawa, we are not preparing dosa
