I honestly can’t tell you if there’s anything wrong with the product or not because trying to detach the old charging port from the Nintendo is darn near impossible. We bought several tools trying to make this work and were in the end unable to. Unfortunately, I waited too long to return these. Thankfully they weren’t very expensive.

This USB connector was exactly what I needed to repair my Nintendo switch which would no longer charge, due to the original connector being worn out. It's not an easy task to perform the repair, but with a little patience, solder flux and a heat gun, the repair can be performed.

Let me tell you, it was a journey alright—a journey straight into the depths of 'What have I done?' land.First off, the instructions were like trying to decipher an ancient scroll written in a language only known to IKEA furniture assemblers. I swear, I had more success understanding my cat's meows than those instructions.Then came the installation part. Picture this: me, sitting cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by tiny screws that seemed to have a mind of their own, jumping off into the unknown abyss of my carpet. And don't even get me started on the miniature tools that came with the kit. I felt like a giant trying to perform surgery on a flea.After what felt like an eternity of fumbling and cursing, I finally managed to put everything back together. Triumphantly, I plugged in my Switch, expecting a chorus of angels to sing as it powered up. Instead, I was greeted with the sound of silence. Not a single pixel lit up, not even a flicker of hope.In conclusion, my Nintendo Switch is now in a state of semi-permanent limbo, and I've learned a valuable lesson: some things are best left to the professionals. On the bright side, I've become an expert at finding lost screws in shag carpeting. So, if you ever need help with that, hit me up.

Well we have the parts and pieces just holding out till we can get the heat gun and soldering items. My own fault for not paying enough attention. Came well packaged.
