Superb insurance policy against yourself!
If you need to restrict access to something from YOURSELF this is the best possible way. Give the override keys to someone trusted like a family member or friend and forget about your impulsive habits. When the timer is set even your pin code won't let you in without those keys! Can't thank the creator enough, just the psychological effect of having your "problem" locked away and out of reach is a very powerful thing. It's self imposed "lock down" and works without fail. Just close the door and forget about your temptations. Pure genius and worth every penny. Thank you for saving me from myself!

Bad value for what it is and not good quality.
I can't for the life of me think why they could not just share the timer's battery power with the pin unlock circuitry. The item is already vastly over-priced for what it is and they want even more money so that you don't have to place the safe next to a power outlet. I thought I might get away with a USB battery pack, but alas, it doesn't work. The safe doesn't draw enough power to keep the battery switched on, and as soon as it loses power, the pin entry will no longer work.It has a flimsy and very poor quality molded plastic front facia and twist opener that looks and feels cheap and nasty.I can't understand how a simple and (what looks like off-the-shelf) time delay box inside the door adds such a massive difference in cost versus a normal small valuables safe that might cost 40 quid. The fact that most of these much cheaper safes will quite happily run on batteries and this one doesn't just rubs salt into the wound.Overall it is poor value and poor quality. I sent mine back.

This is not a safe. Break in within 10sec
Bought this to stash my wallet so I wouldn't spend money on booze and misbehaving after work.. Great plan. In a moment of weakness broke into it within 10 seconds. All you need is a large hammer. The edges are welded and break with two wallops. You shouldn't call it a safe if you can open it with a hammer. £180.00 :(

Not sure why these have so many negative reviews
These lockbox safes are awesome. Had mine a few months now, use 3 times a day and they've worked a treat so far. Setting times to open/close them is pretty straightforward - you just have to double check everything before locking them to make sure you put them on the right settings. The only times I've been locked out are when I've made a mistake or forgot the time(s) I've set it to open, in which case I just get a family member to post a key back to me. They do have to be plugged into the mains, but I got an Amazon multi-plug with 2 x USB sockets and it doesn't irritate me as they are now always plugged in... I was using plastic lockboxes before and I just kept breaking into them and having to replace them. I've never broken into these so they saved me a lot of money in that regard and also from spending as I lock the bankcard away.

Fantastic product. Paid for itself in a short amount of time.
Great product, works exactly as it is supposed to do. It's definitely secure and sturdy. Some of the negative reviews here make me laugh a bit... of course if you take a sledge hammer to it you'll be able to break into it! But that's an act of self-sabotage. If you use it simply as a tool to put a roadblock in between your urges and the ability to access whatever is inside, then it's really helpful. But it's not an omnipotent remedy, but then nothing is.I also don't agree with the reviews that say it's difficult to set the timer correctly. Yes, you do need to pay attention and double check what you've programmed when setting it (as I admittedly did find out to my cost on one occasion), but if you read the instructions and go slowly the first time to soon becomes very easy.Honestly this saved me so much money over the years I'm sure it has paid for itself numerous times over.My only wish would be for a timer that can deal with periods longer than a week. Being able to programme periods up to a month (or even a year) would be amazing. Other than that it's great.

Get your willpower back!
It's a solid safe and I can lock a lot of my temptations in there such as credit cards, money, keys, etc. I just set my timer and it repeats every week at the set time. If I miss that timer opening window then I just have to wait until the next time. The seller is very helpful and friendly and answered all of my questions so I'm pleased with my purchase. The safe is expensive but I see it as an investment and over time it will more than make up the price I paid when I start to see an improvement in my life. My only wish is that if the safe had a front LED indicator notifying me when it is within the opening window then it would give me a visual indicator that I can see when i can open it. Not a big deal but I think this would improve it slightly because right now the flashing LED indicator is on the actual timer itself which is located behind the door so nobody can see this so it defeats its purpose. I've had safe for a few months now and have had no issues with it.

He's added a timer to a safe and it works, thoroughly recommend
Had this for a year now and the positive reviews are true, for me it was life changing. Like the top review said, just knowing you've put your temptations out of reach is such a weight off the mind, the willpower battles with myself now only last until I've shut the door instead of all evening every weekday. You can tell he makes them himself because of how the instructions are written, clearly trying to help his customer and even what looks like his own mobile number in there if you have queries.Thank you mate, it's such an obvious gap in the market for this simple solution. I would perhaps take the 10 minutes to smash £40 worth of plastic after a bad day, but hours to break a £180 safe is not worth it (nor is bullying the keys out of my missus!).I hope you don't stop making them for people.

Too frustrating to set up timer, it's crazy foolish timer
The timer setting is so complicated, if you dont check the day , you could be locked out for week... I did a 1 hour test, I know you've got the emergency keys, I checked the click timer, but it then locked me for nearly two days had to get the keys from sister who lives 22 mile away..£20 safe with amature timer screwed on , takes the price to 185 what a joke
