Reliable, outdated hardware
The screen is large, feature still resonable for a profuct designed in 2013 (consider the first mass production scuba computer 1987 - Aladin so this s more than a lifetime in this field) There is no firmware update possible. The backlight is verry weak, data pooling is once in 20 seconds. Most current hardware is pooling data at 5 or 2 seconds or each second(for freedive). However, is a big and reliable instrument for ocasional recreational use that will keep you safe if used corectly. Is not hard to use.

Watch failed on a dive. Not ideal.
If there's one thing you want from a dive computer, you want it to work. Mine failed half way through a liveaboard diving holiday - on a dive. It just didn't recognise I was under water. Bad times.Cressi were completely useless when trying to claim under warranty (I have to send it to Cressi UK at my expense - then they send it to Italy - then it takes approx 7 weeks for them to look at it). I even emailed them a video of it not working - next to a working Suunto Zoop at 19m. It behaved as if I was on the surface (I could enter dive plan mode / PC Link / etc) - it was clear it didn't work and the battery was full.I "fixed" it myself by turning it off and on again (it is a computer after all), but have no confidence in it working properly for the future. Then there's the software to transfer your dives to a computer. It's atrocious - it's like you've taken a step back to the turn of the millennium. Download it for free before you buy anything (search Cressi's website for it). It won't work on a tablet and probably not a Mac - and it's not exactly straight forward on Windows.I didn't bother to send mine back - I'd rather put the tenner I'd have to pay for postage towards a decent computer and be done with this.
